Vir Das starves for more!

Friday is usually an exam day for actors. It's a day of nervousness and tension. It all adds up even more when the star is doing something different than what he or she has done in the past. Such was the case with Vir Das. He's one actor whom you've always seen smiling and making others laugh.  You'll always think of comic roles like Delhi Belly or Love Aaj Kal where even in such a small role he left his mark! 31st Oct was a challenge for this actor who's largely known for his comedy. But as the film released Vir started getting appreciation for his work. People have accepted the funny Vir in a dark and intense role!

"I wanted to do something more than just comedy.  I have done theatre when I was younger. People see comedy as my genre but as an actor I wanted to do more and I'm glad in whatever capacity they have liked me in a new genre this time. I'm hoping in my further roles too people would like what I do." said Vir. He's now all geared up for Raakh and Shivaay where he's again miles away from comedy and is playing intense characters!

The film 31st Oct may not have done well but for Vir it has been a positive step ahead!
