Varun Dhawan replaces Salman Khan in Karan Johar's Shhuddhi

Shhuddhi, one of Salman Khan's most anticipated movie under Karan Johar's banner is finally going to see the light of the day. But here comes the twist in the tale, even though Shhuddhi is helmet by Dharma Productions, Salman won't be a part of the project anymore.

Varun Dhawan has apparently filled in the superstar's place. Salman took to twitter and posted: @BeingSalmanKhan: Kamaal karte ho Varun Dhawanmade your dad n me so proud of u happy Shhuddhi.

To which Varun Dhawan graciously replied: Thank you Bhai @BeingSalmanKhan I promise to make you proud #Shuddhi.

Now was this a creative decision or something else only both parties can say.

But for now Shhuddhi is Varun's kitty. Alia Bhatt would be seen opposite to Varun in the film.
