Sunjay Kapur, the Indian industrialist, and former husband of actress Karisma Kapoor, has reportedly passed away at the age of 53. A couple of days before his death, Sunjay Kapur, Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband, shared a note on his X handle. It discussed having ‘limited time on earth’ and showed Kapur's belief in ‘Why Not’ over ‘What if’.

“Your time on earth is limited. Leave the ‘what ifs’ to the philosophers and instead dive head first into the ‘why nots’," the note read. Sharing the same, Sunjay wrote, “Progress demands bold choices, not perfect conditions. #MondayMotivation."

Following the news of his death on June 12 during a polo match in the United Kingdom, the timing of Sunjay Kapur’s post has gained attention.

In response to Sunjay’s post, social media users are now sharing it, expressing shock and sorrow. One user wrote, "What an irony man, why would he post like this, I really can’t understand." Another added, "Completely unpredictable life." A third comment read, "Feeling sad for the family and his children, May his soul rest in peace."

Sunjay Kapur, who passed away in the UK at the age of 53 due to a reported heart attack during a polo match, was a prominent figure in business and sports. As the chairman of Sona Comstar, he was a major player in the automotive industry. Additionally, he was actively involved in motorsports and polo. His loss is felt across both business and sporting communities.

Sunjay Kapur, who married Karisma Kapoor in 2003, had two children, Samaira and Kiaan, with her. They separated in 2014 and divorced in 2016. In 2017, he married model Priya Sachdev and had a son, Azarias, while also co-parenting Priya’s daughter from a previous marriage.

Moments before his unexpected death, Sunjay had used X (formerly Twitter) to offer his condolences to the victims of the Air India crash in Ahmedabad, writing, “Terrible news of the tragic Air India crash in Ahmedabad… May they find strength in this difficult hour."
