Yesterday, the final rites of late Sunjay Kapur happened in the Lodhi Garden Crematorium in Delhi. Karisma Kapoor was seen with their children, Samaira and Kiaan Raj Kapoor. We could see how Kiaan broke down when the pyre was lit. Business tycoon Sunjay Kapur was married to Priya Sachdev and they had a son, Azarias. Sunjay had married Karisma in 2003 and they separated in 2013. However, the formal divorce came through in 2016. However, it is said that Sunjay Kapur and Priya became friends when he was still legally wedded to Karisma.

As per a report in BollywoodShaadis, Priya Sachdev had met Sunjay Kapur on a flight. She said, “During the flight, we realised that neither of is us was what our public perception had been made out to be. The barrier of those misconceptions came down and we kept in touch.” Priya Sachdev is also from Delhi. Her father Ashok Sachdev is a top car dealer in India. As we know, late Sunjay Kapur was the CMD of Sona Comstar, a firm that manufactures automotive parts. The Rs 39,000 crore firm has set up plants even in far off places like Serbia and Mexico.

She had also said that it took them a long time to marry as they had to settle matters with their ex-spouses. Priya was married to Vikram Chatwal, who is a famous American hotelier. The marriage ended in 2011. Priya has a daughter Safira from Vikram. Sunjay Kapur had a wonderful relationship with all the children. In fact, Priya and Azarias had also come for the 18th birthday celebrations of Samaira at a Mumbai hotspot. Sunjay has left bonds worth crores for the future of Samaira and Kiaan.
