Sonakshi Sinha Reveals Truth Behind Dating Shahid Kapoor

Actress Sonakshi Sinha shared screen space with Shahid Kapoor in 2013’s romantic action film, R Rajkumar. The film gave rise to link up rumours between the two actors and reports of their relationship started making headlines.

Looking back at the link-up rumours with Shahid, Sonakshi said that the two are still good friends. “I feel like sometimes people just, these rumours just start, people don’t have many things to talk about. When two single people are shooting, they are like, ‘oh what to do, chalo let’s start a rumour. It is quite funny. It did not bother me. Shahid and Me are good friends even today. At that time, we would laugh it off too. It never bothered us,” she told Pinkvilla.

Sonakshi was also linked with Notebook actor Zaheer Iqbal, who had recently rubbished such rumours and revealed that they laughed when they read about it and also stated how it was awkward because he was dating someone at that time.

Meanwhile, the Dabangg actress also spilt some beans about her marriage plans. “My family doesn’t pressurise me because they see how happy I am. They know I am working and enjoying my work. And I have to find a boy, only then I can get married.” she said.

On the other hand, Shahid is happily married to Mira Rajput Kapoor and has two kids- Misha and Zain together.

Currently, Sonakshi is under lockdown with her family and is relentlessly extending her help to the frontline workers fighting against COVID-19. Recently, she donated PPE kits to the doctors of Sardar Patel Hospital, Pune.

Sonakshi took to social media to express her gratitude towards her fans. Sharing a picture of the donations, she penned: “All you lovely people!
