Security breach at Salman Khan’s residence: Man arrested for trespassing

A 23-year-old man from Chhattisgarh was detained on May 20 after unlawfully entering Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, the residential complex where Bollywood actor Salman Khan lives. The individual, identified as Jitendra Kumar Singh, was taken into custody by Mumbai Police after repeated attempts to approach the actor.

Authorities say Singh had been seen lingering near the building earlier in the day. On being asked to vacate the area by the security personnel deployed for Salman Khan's Y+ level protection, he allegedly reacted by breaking his mobile phone and arguing with security staff.

Later that evening, Singh managed to access the building again, this time by entering in a vehicle registered to a resident of the complex. Despite evading attention momentarily, he was soon identified and intercepted. The security team, already on alert from his earlier visit, detained him and handed him over to the Bandra police station.

During questioning, Singh is said to have expressed his desire to meet the actor in person. According to officers handling the case, he claimed that the denial to see Salman Khan had prompted him to sneak in. “I just wanted to meet him once. They kept stopping me,” he reportedly told the police.

An FIR has now been filed against Singh under relevant sections of trespassing. Law enforcement is conducting further inquiries into the incident to determine if there were any lapses in the security protocol or if there was assistance from within the premises.

The matter has reignited conversation around the constant security threats faced by public figures. While no harm was reported in this incident, authorities are taking the breach seriously given the level of security already in place around the actor.

This is not the first time a fan has attempted to breach high-security zones to reach a celebrity. Police are expected to tighten monitoring around Galaxy Apartments following the event, especially with Salman Khan’s continued presence in Mumbai for upcoming projects.
