Sara Ali Khan talks about how she and Ibrahim resembling their parents is “not normal”

The fact that Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan are dead ringers of their parents' younger selves is well known on the internet. Several memes and posts have been made about how the siblings resemble young versions of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh. Sara addressed the uncanny similarities in a recent interview, admitting that it is 'not normal.' She went on to say that, like the rest of the country, this is a frequent topic of conversation at her house. 

Sara made her debut in 2018 with Kedarnath. Since then she has been compared to her mother, Amrita Singh, who was a successful actress in the 1980s and 1990s. Ibrahim, on the other hand, has been dubbed as the  "younger version of his father." Ibrahim resembles father Saif Ali Khan, who made his debut at the age of 22 in the early 1990s. Saif Ali khan and Amrita Singh were married to each other from 1991 to 2004. 

Sara stated that it is not normal for her to look like her mother and Ibrahim to look like his father. They are identical, it's not as if they have glimpses of them. They literally look like their parents did back then, which she guess gets people talking.

The actor went on to say that while she looks like her mother Amrita and Ibrahim looks like his father Saif, their personalities are completely different. She revealed how this is a frequent topic of discussion at home and told how Ibrahim is much more composed and calm. He resembles their father but is more like their mother, whereas Sara resembles her mother but is more like the father. 

On the work front, Sara was most recently seen in the film Atrangi Re, alongside Dhanush and Akshay Kumar. She will next be seen in Laxman Utekar's untitled film, in which she will co-star with Vicky Kaushal. She will also appear in Gaslight, alongside Vikrant Massey and Chitrangada Singh.
