'Aur Mohabbat Kitni Karoon' from 'Metro...In Dino' feels like the song of every unsent text

A brand-new song has just made its way into the soundtrack of Metro…In Dino, and this one leans into the quiet kind of love, the one that doesn’t always find its way into words. Titled Aur Mohabbat Kitni Karoon, the track is composed by Pritam and voiced by none other than Arijit Singh, whose music catalogue already includes a long list of heartbreak anthems and slow-burn ballads.

The song focuses on a relationship where emotions run deep, even when they're not explicitly stated. There are no grand proposals or loud declarations, instead, this love simmers in shared silences, everyday gestures, and the space between fights. The lyrics, penned by Sandeep Srivastava, lean into the emotional gaps people often avoid talking about, revealing how much is felt but never said.

This track is the fourth one to be released from the film’s album. Each of the earlier tracks — Zamaana Lage, Dil Ka Kya, and Mann Ye Mera — has explored different emotional stages of love. From parting ways to dealing with heartbreak to the discovery of new feelings, the soundtrack has functioned almost like a parallel narrative to the stories unfolding in the film.

With Aur Mohabbat Kitni Karoon, the album now shifts focus to love that stays put without needing attention. It digs into the kind of connection that isn’t performative, the one that survives without applause.

Metro…In Dino marks the latest chapter in Anurag Basu’s world of interconnected stories, previously seen in Life in a… Metro and Ludo. This new instalment continues the tradition of using music as a storytelling tool, giving each character arc its own sonic identity.

The film arrives in cinemas on 4th July 2025. Until then, the music continues to offer a glimpse into the lives it will soon unfold onscreen.
