Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt Reunite for Action Film ‘Ganga Ram’; Krish Ahir to Direct

Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt are all set to reunite on the big screen for an intense action film titled Ganga Ram. Over the past two weeks, both actors have confirmed their collaboration on a rustic action film, sparking excitement among their fans. Now, sources have revealed more details about this much-anticipated project.

A trusted insider confirmed, "Salman and Sanju are coming together for a rustic action film titled Ganga Ram, with the duo in the titular role. It's a film developed by Salman and his SKF team in-house, and everyone is very excited to get back the OGs on the big screen in the action set-up. When Salman's team told the one-line to Sanjay, he was also more than excited to partner and join forces with Salman on a two-hero film."

The movie will be helmed by debutant director Krish Ahir, who has worked as an associate on multiple Salman Khan films over the past five years. Talking about the film’s concept, the source further revealed, "Ganga Ram aims to bring in the mass audience to the big screen like never before, as it would celebrate the two giants - Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt - together. The tale is loaded with macho elements, and both of them have Alpha Male characteristics."

The film is expected to go on floors around June or July 2025. It will be produced under Salman’s banner SKF, but the team is also looking for a studio partner to ensure a grand cinematic experience. Salman himself hinted at this film during promotions for Sikandar, mentioning that he is working on a rustic and next-level film with Sanjay Dutt. Additionally, Salman has another project lined up with filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt is gearing up for Bhootnii, a horror comedy featuring Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh, Palak Tiwari, Aasif Khan, and YouTuber Beyounick. The trailer, launched at a grand Mumbai event, showcases Sanjay Dutt as a ghostbuster, while Mouni Roy plays a ghost named ‘Mohabbat’, even making a fun Naagin reference.

With Ganga Ram bringing Salman and Sanjay together, fans are eagerly waiting to witness this powerful duo in action once again!
