It will be the debut movie for Krish Ahir, who has worked as an AD in many films of Salman Khan.

Fans of the superstar are upset with his decision. They do not want to see him in a South Indian masala style rustic action film. They want him to collaborate with a good filmmaker for his next, someone who can use his star power to the fullest in a content-driven film.

An insider told us, “We are seeing that fans are upset with this Ganga Ram movie announcement but we do not see it happening this soon. There is no buzz in the film circles about Sanjay Dutt and him coming together for a rural mass film. People in trade circles feel this is just a rumour as there was no talk about such a film.”

The insider also said that his supporters feel that Jordy Patel, his manager is not guiding him towards the right projects hence this anger. “Saying that, the script selection is always in the star’s hand,” the source said.

On the brighter side, there are some top filmmakers and producers who still wish to bring the superstar on board for their projects. Kabir Khan has discussed Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 with the Salman Khan, and they are working on the details. Bollywood buffs and fans can hope that whatever he takes up again, it lives upto his unbeatable legacy of being a box office tornado.
