Sajid Nadiadwala hosts a special screening of ‘83 for the I&B Ministry in Delhi

He took off to Delhi recently where he will be showcasing the sports drama to dignitaries from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

83 might still be around two days away from release but all the screenings and media shows that it has had so far have managed to bring in a pool of only positive reviews. The film has already received immense love from all centers and it seems almost certain that the viewers will be loving the same.

But before that happens, there are more screenings being planned and producer Sajid Nadiadwala planned the same. He took off to Delhi recently where he will be showcasing the sports drama to dignitaries from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. It is being said that Union Ministers Anurag Thakur and Piyush Goel will be attending this premiere in Delhi. 10 other MP and MLAs are also a part of this exclusive screening.

’83 stars Ranveer Singh in the role of former Indian captain Kapil Dev, who led the winning squad. Deepika Padukone, who is also producing the movie, will be seen essaying the part of Ranveer’s onscreen wife Romi Bhatia. Apart from Ranveer, ’83 also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, Harrdy Sandhu, Sahil Khattar, Ammy Virk, Adinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa and R Badree. 

The film is slated for a theatrical release on December 24.
