Housefull 5 Day 3 box office: Akshay Kumar, Sajid Nadiadwala film runs towards Rs 100 crores, beats Thug Life

Housefull 5 has brought back the smiles for Sajid Nadiadwala after the debacle of Sikandar. The movie made close to Rs 57 crores in two days at the box office. Audiences that have watched Housefull 5 have found it entertaining for the greater part. The surprise climax is also a huge factor. Akshay Kumar is in stellar form in the comedy much to the delight of his fans. It has already crossed the global box office of Bhool Chuk Maaf starring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi. Housefull 5 is filmed on a cruise liner and is made on a budget of close to Rs 270 crores.

The movie is running to close to 50 per cent occupancy in most theatres. Crowds also came to watch it in the mornings due to the Eid-ul-Adha holidays. Today, there were around 1.5 lakh bookings for the film. It should make around Rs 35 crores, which is very good. Housefull 5 can enjoy a clean run till Sitaare Zameen Par that comes on June 20, 2025. It should cross the Rs 100 mark by tomorrow. The Housefull franchise has always been a successful one. Tarun Mansukhani of Dostana fame directed this movie.

As per current estimates, Housefull 5 should make Rs 90 – 92 crores by Monday. This is indeed a good run for a movie that is an outright comedy flick. Sonam Bajwa celebrated the success of Housefull 5 with Tiger Shroff on the sets of Baaghi 4. The film is expected to come in theatres in September 2025. Fans now want Akshay Kumar to focus on his comedy films and release Welcome To The Jungle on a suitable date.
