The release of Ranveer Singh's forthcoming film, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, has piqued the interest of his admirers. He will portray a part in the film that is unlike any other he has performed before.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar is a big-screen family comedy that will introduce a new kind of hero and heroism to Indian films. In the film, Ranveer celebrates the girl child by portraying a sharp-witted Gujarati guy who fights for his unborn baby girl and takes on his family, which is emblematic of the patriarchal culture in which we live.

When asked about portraying a parent in the film, he expressed his delight in the position. He revealed that his father, Jugjeet Singh Bhavnani, inspired him to play this role. Ranveer's father was a rock for him and his entire family during some difficult moments, and the actor channelled his father's calm, protective attitude to play Jayeshbhai on screen.

The Padmavat actor shared, “I learned a lot from that element of my life, especially from watching my father interact with our family. It's as if we were the only thing that mattered to him; from the time he awoke to the time he went to sleep, his sole purpose was to give us a better life, to be the best protector and provider that he could possibly be; to be the best family man that he could possibly be, to do everything in his power, no matter how much it cost him – physically, mentally, emotionally – to give us a better life, which is the premise of Jayeshbhai's journey as well'

Jayeshbhai Jordaar, directed by Maneesh Sharma and starring Arjun Reddy and Shalini Pandey, is a satirical parody on society. She will make her Bollywood debut opposite Ranveer Singh. Divyang Thakkar, a debutante, directed the film, which will be released internationally on May 13, 2022.
