Ranveer Singh is all praises for Jayeshbhai Jordaar co-stars

Ranveer Singh is gearing up for Jayeshbhai Jordaar, which looks like a promising family entertainer and tries to portray the hero in a different light. While it features Ranveer in the titular role, it will also have the likes of Boman Irnai, Ratna Pathak Shah, and also mark Shalini Pandey's big screen debut.

Praising Boman Irnai, he said how he is somebody whose craft he has admired for a very long time and he has created some of the most memorable characters in Hindi cinema. He also mentioned how he is one of a kind and is irreplaceable and elevates any film he is a part of. 

He said,

''I have had extended interactions with him off-camera, and his personality, his worldview, his philosophies. I've been deeply engaged with him off camera and he is like a guru to me. Performing scenes with him, it really goes in the highlight reel of my career, just to be sharing screen space with a legendary actor like him.”

About Ratna Pathak Shah, he added how he is working with her for the first time and her kids used to be in his school and how she was always around during dramatics and annual day.

He added, 

''Again, an artiste whom I admire so much. I've seen her perform live on stage, I've seen her perform on television, in films. She's such an accomplished artist with such a vast body of work, a real master of her craft. I always knew it when I saw it but to experience it first hand on set, was really something else.”

He said how she is absolute magic and is an actor who is so present that she compels you to be in the moment. While he mentioned how she does not shy from giving suggestions and they are brilliant, she also says when something is good and expresses that as well. He added how she is effortless and he believes he has had some of the career best scenes with her.

He also spoke about Shalini and mentioned how she is somebody who everyone knows and her performance in Arjun Reddy is known to all too. 

He said,

''In Jayesh Bhai she will be opening up another facet of her personality. The graph of her character was actually the most difficult to execute and I've seen the amount of passion, sincerity and effort that she's put in, and in close tandem with Divyang, to deliver her absolute best. I am confident that she will shine on screen. She's also somebody who I have an immense amount of affection for.”

Among other things, he mentioned how she is really about the work and that refreshing to see and she is grounded. He also told the leading portal how she is someone he has genuine affection for because of the vibe and he feels that Jia too, is an absolute prodigy and a revelation in the film.

A hilarious satire on society, the movie is produced by Maneesh Sharma and marks Divyang Thakkar's directorial debut.
