Ranveer Singh has the perfect answer when asked 'Beti chahiye ya Beta'

Ranveer Singh's fans were in a flurry on Tuesday afternoon as the trailer for his forthcoming project Jayeshbhai Jordaar was unveiled. Ranveer will appear in the film, which is a social comedy drama, in a never-before-seen role, with a Gujarati accent and an intriguing appearance.

The trailer was unveiled during a lavish ceremony in the city, with Ranveer, actress Shalini Pandey, director Divyang Thakkar, and producer Maneesh Sharma in attendance

Ranveer also took a few questions from the press at the trailer premiere. 

"Actual life mein beti chahte hain ya beta? (Would you want a girl or a boy in real life?)" was one such question that perplexed the actor.

Ranveer quoted a dialogue from the film, and said, 

"Ye to upar waale par depend karta hai. Film mein bhi ek dialogue hai, jab mandir mein jate hai to Prasaad mein seera (halwa) mile ya laddu aap le lete hai na. Jo upar wala chahega vaise hoga (This depends on God. Even in the film, there's a dialogue which says, that whenever you go to a temple you eat whatever Prasad is given to you. So it will happen according to God's plan)."

The trailer of the film featured Ranveer Singh as Jayeshbhai Jordaar, who is astonished by the patriarchal nature of the society in which he lives. And despite his family's desire for a son, Jayeshbhai goes against the grain and stands up for his wife and girls. Will he succeed, or will he succumb to society pressures?

The fans can't wait for the movie to come out to see what happens.
