PHOTOS: Ranveer Singh looks Uber-Cool in his NEW LOOK for Simmba

In Simmba, Ranveer will be seen playing a cop and for this, the actor has already started training to attain the desired physique. About his workout schedule, Singh revealed to HT, "Rohit sir had told me [about the physique] a long time back and was clear about the kind of body he wished for me to have. So, now it's time to put the blinkers on, put my head down, work hard, and acquire the body that he wants".

The actor had also expressed, "Simmba is home territory for me! I feel I can just be myself in it. Front foot, mainstream and an entertainer full of masala elements, this is more me".

Speaking of Simmba, this film is an adaption of a south film titled 'Temper' and is slated to hit the theatres on 28^th December 2018. The film will also star debutant Sara Ali Khan as the female lead. Before making an official announcement, Rohit had revealed about this film by stating, "I am doing a film with Ranveer which will be full of action. This will be the first time people will see him performing so many action sequences. He has great energy and after working with him in a commercial, even I believe so".
