Oscars 2023: Ram Charan and Jr. NTR deck up in classy black traditional ensemble
South stars Ram Charan and Jr. NTR decked up in classy traditional attire while attending the Oscars and looked dapper in their fits.
The 95th Academy Awards kickstarted in full swing at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. It is an extremely proud moment for the Indians right now as we bring home the Oscar for RRR's song 'Naatu Naatu.'
The show stars, Ram Charan and Jr. NTR, dazzled everyone with their crisp looks as they attended the award night. The actors wanted to represent India worldwide, so they dressed in Indian garb for the special occasion. Jr. NTR walked the red carpet in a custom-built Gaurav Gupta attire. Maintaining the garment's ethereal elegance, it comprised of numerous contrasting silk strands. Both the national animal and the thrilling tiger chase scene from SS Rajamouli's RRR are represented by the tiger perched on the shoulder. Jr. NTR completed his look with straight-leg pants and a pair of black Chelsea shoes.
Ram Charan sported a bandhgala jacket, an asymmetrical kurta, and straight-fitting pants in a three-piece velvet suit. The kurta has a draped silhouette and an asymmetrical hem, in contrast to the jacket's neck, padded shoulders, full-length sleeves, frontal gold-toned button clasp, and an elegant brooch. Ram finished off his look with a standout watch and sophisticated black dress shoes.
The Best Original Song Oscar for 2023 went to RRR's Naatu Naatu. Applause (Tell It Like a Woman), Hold My Hand (Top Gun Maverick), Raise Me Up (Black Panther Wakanda Forever), and This is a Life (Everything Everywhere All at Once) were all nominated in this category.
The Elephant Whisperers, a 2022 Indian-American short documentary film made by Kartiki Gonsalves in her directorial debut and supported by Guneet Monga, also won.
