Akhil Akkineni, Zainab Ravdjee reception: Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, Suriya & Yash join star-studded celebration

The Akkineni family recently hosted a lavish reception in Hyderabad to celebrate the wedding of actor Akhil Akkineni and Zainab Ravdjee. The couple tied the knot on June 6, 2025, in an intimate ceremony. Their post-wedding celebration, held on Sunday, turned into a star-studded affair with a long list of film industry guests and political dignitaries in attendance.

Among the early guests to arrive were Mahesh Babu with his wife Namrata Shirodkar and daughter Sitara. Annapurna Studios shared a group picture with the caption, “The Akkineni family extends a heartfelt welcome to the beloved superstar @urstrulyMahesh & family. Your presence lights up our celebration and adds to the joy of this special day.” Kollywood actor Suriya, director Venky Atluri, and actor Ram Charan with his wife Upasana and director Buchi Babu Sana were also spotted.

Political leaders, including Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, also marked their presence, underlining the significance of the event beyond just film circles. KGF star Yash and actor Nani joined the celebrations as well, further raising the glam quotient.

Inside the venue, Akhil wore a crisp white suit with black trousers, while Zainab opted for a peach-toned lace gown, paired with diamond jewellery and a statement neckpiece. The couple posed hand-in-hand alongside Nagarjuna, Amala Akkineni, and Zainab’s parents. One of the photos also included Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, sparking further public interest. Sobhita wore a red saree with a golden sleeveless blouse, while Chay donned a formal dark suit.

Earlier pictures from the wedding ceremony had shown Zainab in an ivory saree, paired with diamonds, while Akhil wore a traditional white kurta-dhoti ensemble.

The reception was not only a celebration of Akhil and Zainab’s union but also a moment that brought together some of the biggest names from South Indian cinema and politics, all under one roof. The Akkineni family made sure to extend warm thanks to each guest, capturing the essence of a personal yet grand family affair.
