"Not only acting and dancing, I have also sung the title of Krishnadasi."- Chhavi Mittal

TV actors who take a sabbatical from work to focus on personal lives often lose their charm when they make a come-back on television.

But breaking the stereotype is the vivacious Chhavi Mittal, who has recently been roped in for an exceptional character on Colors' Krishnadasi. Essaying the role of Tulsi, Chhavi shared her excitement about her comeback on the show.

She averred, "I am back with a bang! I can say this because I am not only acting and dancing to classical music but I have also sung the title track of this show. Tulsi has many shades and shares a different equation with each character. I am lucky and very excited about the response the show will generate."

Since the lady was on a maternity break from 2012, Tellybuzz quizzed her about what she was upto for all these years?

Chhavi shared, "I started my own production house titled 'Shitty Ideas Trending on the digital front' which has garnered a huge fan following, not only from India but from USA, UAE and China amongst other countries."

Since Chhavi is quite active on the digital medium and is also doing television, we asked her about the growing trend of web-series in India.

The bright actor said, "The future is digital. With Netflix coming in, the digital medium is only going to grow and in my view, it will soon take over television! I mean, there is so much more to explore online. Additional benefits include the content being available to the masses, particularly the youth who are active all day on internet. Television has serials which cater to a targeted audience but digital makes it available to all. To add on, digital is more flexible when it comes to experimenting things."
