Raj Kaushal passed away on June 30, 2021, due to a heart attack. He was married to Mandira Bedi since 1999, and they shared a family. They had a son, Vir, born in 2011, and adopted their daughter Tara in 2020.

Raj Kaushal, a filmmaker known for directing films like Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi and Shaadi Ke Laddoo, passed away. His death was a significant loss to his family, the film industry, and all those whose lives he touched.

Earlier this year, on Valentine's Day, Mandira shared a heartfelt tribute to her late husband. She posted a short video that commenced with the words, “Happy anniversary Raj," followed by a nostalgic throwback from their wedding day. In the caption, she wrote, We would have been married 26 years today..Miss you #raji .. #happyvalentinesday. It was a simple yet deeply moving reminder of their bond.

Professionally, Mandira, a prominent figure in both television and film, she broke barriers by anchoring cricket tournaments during the 2003 World Cup. Despite her established presence in Bollywood with films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, her foray into the traditionally male-dominated field of sports broadcasting faced resistance and prejudice.

She gained fame with her role in Shanti and appeared in popular shows like Dushman, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, and Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin. In films, she has appeared in The Tashkent Files, Saaho, and the 2023 Netflix series The Railway Men, alongside R. Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Divyenndu, and Babil Khan.
