Mohit Suri Confirms He Never Approached Sidharth Malhotra For 'Aashiqui 3'

Director Mohit Suri is currently all busy and geared up for his upcoming film, Malang whose trailer is not only unconventional but has also garnered a lot of talk everywhere.

There was a huge buzz earlier that Suri has begun working on Aashiqui 3, the sequel to the mega-hit, Aashiqui 2 and even more as to how the film has roped in Sidharth Malhotra and then-rumored girlfriend, Alia Bhatt in leading roles.

However, in a recent interaction with the media, Suri mentioned how Malhotra is a good friend but they have never discussed Aashiqui 3 ever. He said, "Of course, we all are on board. It is taking time from the writing point of time, the director and producer have to agree on the script. It is a mystery to me as well.'

For now, Malang is certainly on Suri's mind and Aashiqui 3 has to wait.
