Karan Johar, the Godfather to many Bollywood Star Kids, is now set to launch another kid in the block!

Yes, you heard that right.

After this fresh news that's making rounds in town, it's becoming evident that KJo is surely adding fuel to the fire of talks about him carrying the baton of  "nepotism".

If sources are to be believed, after launching Sridevi's daughter Jahnavi Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khatter in Dhadak, the filmmaker is all set to give a break to Chunky Panday's daughter Ananya Panday!

There have been talks since a long time now that two young actresses opposite Tiger Shroff in the Student Of The Year sequel will be launched!

A close source has been quoted by a popular daily, Karan is planning to introduce Chunky Panday's daughter Ananya in SOTY 2 and is giving her pro tips to groom herself. The source said, "Karan is also going to introduce Chunky Pandey's daughter Ananya in showbiz with the film. He has already advised her to start working on herself."

"Ananya is going through several grooming sessions and training herself for her part. Not just that, much like Janhvi and Ishaan, he has advised Ananya to be a favourite among the paparazzi. Look at how popular she has suddenly become on social media. All thanks to KJo's advice," added the source.

Not only this, Ananya also made it to the "Le Bal Des Debutantes" (An annual international fashion event that brings together daughters of the rich and famous) this year.

That is so true, all he does is promote these star kids and in many instances they cannot act, more about friends and family than talent. Bollywood needs fresh Talent and i stress the word "talent". Many of the television actors and actress or the common man on the street have more talent that many of the actors and actress in Bollywood.

When was the last time Karan launch a fresh face into the industry that was not related to some famous star or family in Bollywood

@xxMATSxx if that is so, industry from bollywood should ban all newcomers.. i mean look at the amount of people who dream everyday and comes from small towns? why .. because they feel that bollywood is a place for talent and to pursue their dreams which is not true. Bollywood is all connections and only industry people inside and out runs through it, then why does it channelize itself as an industry for all. before kangana, no one could have dared to point out Karan Johar or any other star producer when they do such things..but now even media picks them up..because what's reality is a reality.

if karan johar keeps the balance between launching newcomers n starkids..i don't think anyone would complain..but this just gives out a wrong message to everyone that bollywood doesn't have a place outside the industry. because the biggest production house (DHARMA) doesn't back newcomers at all. Yes Sidharth Malhotra was an exception, but everyone knows he can't act so on what basis he got an entry into that banner.. not anyone can do that. Bollywood is not about one or two children or rather a family, the example ur giving its a huge industry. Also karan johar now doesn't make one movie in 3 years. he has expanded his business to much more films and i don't see why he sees a problem in launching newcomers..if there's a fear of failure or non-acceptance. then people have seen the results of kurbaan, gori tere pyaar mein, ungli n ok jaanu etc. so failure can't be the reason and i don't see what trouble does he have in launching great talent. he promotes nepotism. and that's the truth

I dont know why this is even a nepotism convo. I know they are star kids and karan launches the star kids.. SO WHAT. I think theres directors for everyone. If he is launching the star kids, theres other directors taing risks launching struggling actors. Its a huge industry. I dont think star kids should be shunned because they were born to actorsm thats not their fault. If we say its nepotism, then who will launch the star kids that want to act also? Should they be held at fault for being born to their acting parents? If they have the acting chops, so what man. Look at alia bhatt. Shes impeccable. So much talent. If she was not launched because shes the daughter of a film maker, we woudnt have been been blessed with her acting talent in roles like highway. It isnt the kids fault and someone has to look out for that. So im sorry that i dont agree with the whole nepotism convo.
Switch it to a discussion about doctors instead. A noble profession. A child is born to two doctors and admires their parents work and wants to follow in their foot steps. The childs works extremely hard and is extremely capable of being the best doctor. But due to the competitive nature, its difficult to get placed. Childs parents have networks with colleagues to allow their child to take on an internship or a job somewhere to prove their capabilities. The child succeeds and is now practicing at the best hospital and is one of the best doctors around.
This world, careers, operate on networking and connections. A lot of us get jobs that way. At least here in the US, thats a huge part of being ablr to get a job in a competitive job market. We know someone thay can get us in, there is NOTHING wrong in it, if you are very capable and can make a difference. If something good can come of it, there is nothing wrong in it.
