Kanye West, now legally known as Ye, reignited public curiosity in his drawn-out custody battle with his former spouse, Kim Kardashian, through a string of deeply emotional and controversial messages posted on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).

In an extensive tweet, Kanye West initiated his outburst by calling out prominent musicians and pop culture figures, including Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, Donald Trump, and Elon Musk, questioning why none of them had come to his aid.

“Why are you all watching and letting Kim take my kids from me in real time,” the rapper wrote, while mentioning that “I'm shaking typing this”. “Y’all wanna say I’m acting out cause of things in my childhood… But I don’t get to be a dad.”

West explicitly connected his controversial political affiliations with his public struggles, accusing the broader celebrity community of merely observing as he was "stripped" of his rights.

In a subsequent tweet, Ye claimed he had not seen his son, Saint West, since 2025. “I haven't seen Saint This Year.”

This stark statement underscores what appears to be a failing custody arrangement between Kardashian and Ye. The two share four children: Psalm (5), Chicago (6), Saint (8), and North (11). Ye asserts that not only does he have minimal interaction with them, but it's deliberately limited. "I don’t need to just ‘SEE’ my kids,” he declared. “I need to raise them. I’m a good dad. I’m a great father to have.”

West and his three children were observed shopping at a 7-Eleven in Tokyo's Ginza district in January. His post followed a string of similar claims by him that he was striving to locate "the right" legal representative to contest Kim Kardashian for custody.
