Kanye West Vents Out His Frustration In Unusual Livestream Over Custody Issues with Kim Kardashian

47-year-old rapper, Kanye West, recently made headlines again, this time through a peculiar livestream. During the broadcast, West, wearing a full face mask, expressed his frustrations regarding his inability to see his children. West shares four children—North (11), Saint (9), Chicago (7), and Psalm (5)—with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. Despite the obscured speech due to the mask, his distress over co-parenting challenges was evident.

In a video reposted by Hollywood Unlocked on Instagram on Wednesday, April 30, Kanye was heard saying, “[DJ] Akademiks put that battery in my back, bro. ‘Cause I was in the airport by myself … I’mma go get these kids, man!" The rapper, with his voice muffled under the mask, continued.

The livestream sparked widespread concern online, with many users suggesting Kim should limit Kanye's access to their children. One commenter urged, "Kim, prioritize your children's safety." Another stated, "I wouldn't allow him to see the kids given his behavior on social media."

Another person added, "The judge could easily see the situation without any further evidence."

The 47-year-old rapper has previously voiced his custody frustrations publicly. In recent months, Kanye has accused Kim of limiting his access to their children and not adhering to their custody agreement.

Back in March, Kanye spoke out against what he calls the “Kardashian mob," accusing them, along with Disney and Hulu, of restricting his role as a father to their four children. Taking to X, in a now-deleted post, he had said, “I don’t want to just ‘see’ my kids. I need to raise them. I need to have to say so of where they go to school, who their friends are, and whose house they sleep over and whether my daughters wear lipstick and perfume."

He added, “All these rights have been taken from me by the Kardashian Mob Hulu and Disney and the bigger agenda to use the selectively bred black children to be platforms to influence black people."
