Kanye West's Donda 2 Finally RELEASED on Streaming Services

Kanye West, the American rapper-producer, has finally released Donda 2, a project that was once thought to be lost, after a livestream announcement where he revealed plans to drop the album on Tuesday. Initially teased in early 2022, Kanye had posted that the follow-up to his 2021 album Donda would arrive that February, with Future as executive producer. The album was first available exclusively on his Stem Player device, bypassing traditional streaming platforms. Some tracks were later reworked and given to artists like Fivio Foreign and The Game.

Donda 2 has now appeared on various streaming platforms under the artist name Donda, featuring 18 tracks. Many of these songs, which may have different titles or updated mixes, were in the original version. Future appears on multiple tracks, including Happy and Mr. Miagi. The song 5:30, previously in Kanye and Ty Dolla Sign’s Vultures 2, returns in a shorter form.

The album features high-profile collaborations, with Jack Harlow on Louie Bag and Sean Leon on SCIFI, which includes a spoken-word excerpt from West’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.

Despite frequent outbursts on X (formerly Twitter), West has remained musically active. In March, he surprise-released Bully through a series of short films. These videos quickly vanished from social media, leaving the status of Bully—and whether it will see a full release—uncertain.

Regarding Donda 2, it remains unclear if the album will be universally available on all streaming services or stay limited to select platforms. West mentioned during his livestream that he plans to continue updating the mixes.
