Kabir Khan joins hands with Karan Johar for an action movie? Salman Khan and THIS actor in contention for lead

After Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Salman Khan fans have been wanting him to collaborate with Kabir Khan for a long time. There has been a huge demand for Bajrangi Bhaijaan2 as well. Kabir Khan and Kartik Aaryan’s Chandu Champion that came out in 2024 got good reviews for the actor’s performance but the box office numbers were quite average. As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, Kabir Khan has decided to collaborate with Dharma Productions for an action thriller. As of now, the scripting and pre-production work is underway.

Kabir Khan is the maker of the blockbusters like Ek Tha Tiger, Bajrangi Bhaijaan with Salman Khan in the lead. After Chandu Champion, he wants to make a comeback with a bonafide blockbuster movie. A source said, “Kabir Khan is developing a commercial action film in association with Karan Johar's Dharma Production. The casting of Kabir Khan's next warrants the presence of a macho superstar and the director is looking at either Salman Khan or Vicky Kaushal for the part.”

It seems the filmmaker and producer have begun talks with Salman Khan and Vicky Kaushal to find out if they have the dates for the project. The teaser of Chhaava has got a great response and Vicky Kaushal’s beefed up look is very impressive. It seems both of them have shown interest and want to hear the final draft of the movie.

They are hoping to take the Kabir Khan film on floors by end of 2025. It seems the duo is confident that one of the two actors might come on board.

Salman Khan was supposed to do The Bull with Dharma Productions. Vishuvardhan of Shershaah was finalized as the director. They had plans to bring Samantha Ruth Prabhu or Anushka Shetty on board as the actress. However, the script took way too much time. Salman Khan decided to go ahead with AR Murugadoss’ Sikandar instead.
