FINALLY! Twitter REACTS to fracas over Paresh Rawal - Abhijeet tweets!

Here's what Twitter India has to say about the suspension of Abhijeet's twitter account and Paresh Rawal's tweet about Arundhati Roy!

Twitter has become the platform to voice your stand on various issues, however, sometimes the opinions expressed tend to spark a huge controversy.

One such thing happened when veteran actor Paresh Rawal tweeted, "instead of tying stone pelter on the Army Jeep tie Arundhati Roy". On the similar grounds Twitter suspended singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya's twitter account and soon after that Sonu Niigam deleted his account to show his support for his colleague!

Twitter was then labelled as 'Anti-India' and everyone started to urge people to boycott the social networking platform. However, Twitter India has finally come out to speak about the whole fracas!

The statement released by Twitter India says, "We want people to feel safe expressing diverse opinions and beliefs but we draw the line when it comes to behaviour that crosses the line into abuse, including behaviour designed to consciously harass, intimidate, or silence another person's voice."

When asked to comment on Paresh Rawal's allegations about 'he being coerced (forced) to delete tweets or his account will be blocked', Twitter India denied to say anything on individual accounts!

Twitter India account also posted the procedure about how to get rid of abusive and harassing tweets!
