Family Before All!

On Saturday evening, for the screening of Salman's Dabangg, step mommy Helen ...

Salman Khan's family of many are a close knit gang - we see, and we know!

On Saturday evening, for the screening of Salman's Dabangg, step mommy Helen decided to miss the screening of Vijay Anand's Teesri Manzil despite her own significant role in the movie from the time that it hails. Leading actress of Teesri Manzil, Asha Parekh, is said to have missed Helen during this revival screening. Reminiscing, she stated how she had always thought of Helen looking lovelier, and dancing much better than her own self in the movie! Aww!

But oh, what's more?

Apparently, it wasn't just Helen who skipped screening for Salman's Dabangg, so did Salim Khan, having also been a part of Teesri Manzil himself.

Still, while Dabangg screening got to witness its fair share of tinsel town folks, Teesri Manzil was certainly not an abandoned place! This screening happened to see faces of technicians and artists that were associated with the film so many years ago. Late Vijay Anand was actually represented by his son Siddharth. And while Nasir Hussain's son, Mansoor Khan couldn't make it, he was represented by his nephew, Aamir Khan.

With Dabangg gathering encouraging reviews, and profits at Box Office on its opening day itself, and with Teesri Manzil managing to revive so many cherished memories for its cast and crew of then, the Eid/Ganesh Chaturathi weekend sure has brought many happy smiles about!
