Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharuccha join Akshay and Emraan for 'Selfiee'

With 'Selfiee,' Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi will work together for the first time. Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty have joined the duo of handsome hunks.

Akshay released a video of the actors seated in the backseat of a car, holding the film's script on his social media accounts. They are then seen dancing about goofily to the Selfiee tune.

He captioned the video,

"With @Nushrratt and @DianaPenty joining in, the #Selfiee squad is in full gear! What say @emraanhashmi, ho jaye muqabla?"

'Selfiee,' directed by Raj Mehta, is an official Hindi version of the Malayalam film 'Driving License,' which was released in 2019. It starred Suraj Venjaramoodu as a motor vehicle inspector and Prithviraj Sukumaran as a superstar.

The story is said to concentrate around a celebrity known for his driving abilities who loses his license. However, the situation spirals out of control when he gets into an altercation with a motor inspector who happens to be a fan of the actor.

When it comes to Akshay Kumar, he has a number of exciting projects in the works, including Prithiviraj, Bachchhan Paandey, Raksha Bandhan, Ram Setu, and OMG 2 – Oh My God 2. Emraan Hashmi, on the other hand, was most recently seen in Chehre, with Amitabh Bachchan and Rhea Chakraborty.

On the work front, while Emraan will next be seen in ‘Tiger 3’ with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, Akshay has some very interesting films in his pipeline. He has films like, ‘Ram Setu’, ‘Cindrella’, ‘Prithviraj’, ‘Raksha Bandhan’ and others.
