Dancing Dad: Remo Dsouza to revive Salman Khan's project with Abhishek Bachchan- Report

Salman Khan first announced his intention to work with director Remo D'Souza on the emotional dance drama Dancing Dad back in 2017. The purpose of the movie was to show just how far a father would go to fulfil his daughter's ambition of becoming a dancer. However, the movie was shelved, and the pair worked together on Race 3. And now, six years later, it has been learned that Remo is getting ready to resurrect the project, which is very important to him.

A report stated that now, Remo and Abhishek Bachchan are working together on an emotion-driven dance movie. The play, provisionally titled Dancing Dad, is scheduled to debut next month. The pre-production work has already started, and the team is delighted to shoot this unique dancing picture with Abhishek and a young kid in the lead. The setting of Dancing Dad is completely different from all of Remo's other films, the report further mentioned. 

The report continued, although all of Remo's movies have been about amazing dancers, this one is actually about a non-dancer who learns the skill for his daughter's desire. Dancing Dad is scheduled for a direct-to-digital release for a top OTT player. The agreement has been finalized, and the platform will be releasing an official announcement shortly.

The production team is in discussions with two actresses in addition to Abhishek to portray the female lead in Dancing Dad. 

One woman will feature in the movie as a dancing instructor, while one of the two will have a lengthy cameo as Abhishek's wife. 

The production crew plans to wrap everything by June 2023 and release the movie by the end of the year on a streaming service.
