Finally! The most awaited trailer starring Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar was unveiled amidst media and fans this afternoon.

It's colorful, it's intense, there is unconditional love but lacks the spark if we compare it with the original film 'Sairat'.

Performance wise as well, it's Ishaan who is over-powering Janhvi. But, this is just a glimpse, 'picture abhi baaki hai'. We will have to wait till we see the film to judge Janhvi.

'Dhadak' starring Ishaan Khattar and Janhvi Kapoor is directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar and Hiroo Johar under their home banner Dharma Productions and Apoorva Mehta along with Zee Studios.

The film that marks late actress Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor's Bollywood debut is a remake of 2016 Marathi blockbuster film "Sairat". She will be seen opposite Shahid Kapoor's half-brother Ishaan Khattar.

'Dhadak', is all set to hit the silver screens on July 20, 2018.

The trailer was okay, but the leads of Ishaan and Janhvi's acting isn't compelling for me to get excited or wanting to watch the movie.

Ishaan looks promising but the trailer and Janhavi's acting are a big letdown. And can IF please stop sensetionalizing everything about bollywood??? These days, its like somebody sneezes and IF writes an article about it.

Looking at the trailers...cud not see the Charisma in Jhanvi that as an audience I would want to see...its a big launch...but did not find her acting skills that appealing... quite cold...not sure how the movie unfolds...

From the trailer Janhvi doesn't look promising n certainly when compared to Ishaan. But can't say without seeing the full movie. If I have to go by the trailer I don't feel compelled to watch the movie.
