'Billa' rules Tamil music chart

Chennai, Dec 11 (IANS) With the release of 'Billa', new excitement can be seen in the music segment. Ajith fans have lapped up the songs like never before.

The top five Tamil albums are:

1. 'Billa' - Music Director: Yuvan Shankar Raja. As expected, the remix 'My name is Billa' is the most popular song right now. But Vijay Yesudas' 'Seval Kodi' is the pick of the album.

2. 'Azhagiya Thamizh Magan' - Music Director: A.R. Rahman. Though the film is not doing well, 'Pon magal vanthal', a remix of an old T.M. Soundararajan song, is very popular.

3. 'Kalloori' - Music Director: Joshua Sridhar 'Kaadhal' was a big hit but 'Kalloori' disappointed in the beginning. With the release of the film, the album has got a lease of life.

4. 'Polladhavan' - Music Director: G.V. Prakash. 'Engeyum Eppothum' by S.P. Balasubramaniam is a huge hit.

5. 'Bheema' - Music Director: Harris Jayaraj. 'Mudhal Mazhai' sung by Prasanna, Hariharan and Mahati, continues to be a hit among FM radio channel listeners.
