In an exclusive chat with India Forums earlier, Samridhii opened up on how people thought she was 'cut out to be an actress.' She said, ''Because of my voice work I would visit production houses often. And whenever people would see me, they'd ask me if i am an actor and I would tell them that I am a voice over artist and not an actor. But I think it was always destined to be an actor. I started auditioning and then much later in life my father pushed me to pursue the profession too. I realised that maybe looking at my face, people thought that I was cut out to be an actor and this is how the process started.''

Made her debut with Colors TV's 'Saavi Ki Savari,' Samridhii instantly bagged her second project, after the former came to an end. The actress, who is currently leading Star Plus' longest running show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,' now enjoys a whopping fan base.
