Big Bollywood Break-ups of 2007

Each year is filled with sweet and sour memories. 2007 is no different. Where some were soaking in love, there were few sulking. Kahin Khushi and Kahin Gham hi Gham. This reminds me of a very popular dialogue from the movie “Bunty and Babli” (modified for this article) “there are two kinds of people in this world...One who dumps and the other who gets dumped”…

Following are the list of break-ups that kept the media as well as “gossip mongers” pretty busy.

Saif Ali Khan and Italian model Rosa Catalano parted ways this year. Poor Rosa is still trying to find some ground in Bollywood whereas Junior Pataudi has found a new lady love in the face of Kareena Kapoor.

Second in line are Yuvraj Singh and Kim Sharma. Rumours have it that Yuvraj’s mom was not in favor of their relationship and Yuvraj being a “Mama’s Boy” called it quits.

Another couple to head towards Splitsville is Lara Dutta and her beau Kelly Dorjee. This was a shocker. After living in for many years, the couple decided to part ways for reasons best known to them.

Forth couple to have spilt this year is “Neal and Nikki”. They are no longer in love. The couple was planning to get married but due to personal disagreements decided to put an end to the relationship.

And now the mother of all break-ups is none other than Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. Even though it happened late this year, it got the maximum publicity. Shahid is trying to “move on”, Kareena has moved closer to Saif who are now a couple.
