Arrogant daughter + Misunderstood Mother = Awesome Leap
All was well, until the leap did them apart!

So what happens when once upon a time's brilliantly amusing track of the ideal bahu and her constant struggle with her in-laws, vamps, nosy relatives, kidnappers and goons, terrorists and supernatural evil... hits a stand still?
The answer to this million dollar question, my dear readers is a LEAP! And what is the most tried and tested method for introducing a leap...?
A) Separate the lead couple
B) Kill one of the leads
C) Break the family and shift a part of the family to some foreign location
D) Turn the 'once upon a time ideal kid' into a snooty arrogant mom hater!
E) All of the above
Well, this feature is dedicated to all those pre-leap kids, who used to be their mommy's apple of eye until the leap did them apart!
I mean fights and arguments amongst the kids and their parents is understood, but the hate that is depicted in our dailies is on a different tangent altogether.
Listed below are a few such tinsel town youngsters who have hated their mothers.
Pihu in Bade Acche Lagte Hai

Bade Acche Lagte Hai was one soap that was followed by many. The mother (Saakshi Tanwar) goes to rectify the mistake of her child, meets with an accident and slips into comma. Okay, Tragic! And the daughter is relieved about the same? Priceless!
Meera in Saath Nibhana Saathiya

The father is to blame here. Ahem (Mohammad Nazim) starts hating his wife due to certain incidents and passes on this hatred to their daughters Meera (Tanya Sharma) and Vidya (Sonam Lamba). Remember how much Ahem used to hate Gopi because she was uneducated? Speaking about upbringing, who behaved like an uneducated person and brought up their daughters to hate their mother?
Ruhi in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein

Our title, is a perfect fit for this Yeh Hai Mohabbatein track. Young Ruhi (Ruhanika Dhawan) and her Ishima's (Divyanka Tripathi) bond goes for a toss when the evil Nidhi (Pavitra Punia) steps in and separates the duo. The show's ratings grew double fold when post the leap drama of revengeful Ruhi, vowing to separate her mom-dad was introduced.
Naira in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai introduced a very abrupt leap which lead to this track. Naira (Shivangi Joshi) is entangled in a murder case and fearing that her mother Akshara (Hina KHan) will hand her over to the police, flees from her home. An extremely desperate attempt to ring in TRPs without a proper setting for a leap, we must say.
Anjali in Sasural Simar Ka

This definitely beats the rest. The plot line is such that the vamp uses an innocent child and turn her against her own mother. Kudos to the makers for even coming up with this idea.
We completely understand that twists and turns are a very necessary part of any show so that it can go on, but resorting to such gimmicks that may or may not have an influence on the audience and that too repeatedly, will not work in the long run.
