Akshay Kumar reveals delayed release date for Housefull 5, promises a VFX spectacle

Taking to social media, Akshay Kumar shared a few pictures unveiling details about Housefull 5, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, promising a cinematic experience enriched with high-quality visual effects. The announcement poster proudly declares the return of "India's biggest comedy franchise" and discloses the new release date, now set for June 6, 2025.

The decision to push back the release date is framed as a necessary step to ensure the film meets the anticipated standards of storytelling and visual effects. According to makers the team is dedicated to delivering a top-notch cinematic experience. 

The statement reads, "The Housefull franchise owes its success to the audiences, and we hope for a similar reception for Housefull 5. The team has crafted a story that demands top-notch VFX. Therefore, we've decided to push the release to ensure we deliver an entertaining cinematic experience. Housefull 5 will now be releasing on 6th June 2025."
