Akshay Kumar Injured on the Sets of Housefull 5

Actor Akshay Kumar, currently shooting for Housefull 5 in Mumbai, has suffered an injury while performing a stunt for the film. According to sources, the actor was hurt in the eye during the accident.

According to the reports by HT City, “An object came flying in Akshay's eye while he was doing a stunt. An ophthalmologist was called on the set immediately, who bandaged the eye and asked him to take some rest, while the shoot resumed with the other actors. However, even with the injury, Akshay is determined to join the shoot back soon because the film is in final stages of shoot, and he doesn't want it to get delayed.”

The upcoming installment of the Housefull franchise boasts an ensemble cast featuring Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh as constants, along with Abhishek Bachchan, Shreyas Talpade, Chunky Panday, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Nargis Fakhri reprising their roles. New additions to the cast include Fardeen Khan, Dino Morea, Johnny Lever, Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, Nana Patekar, Sonam Bajwa, Chitrangda Singh, and Soundarya Sharma.

The film commenced production earlier this year in Europe, where the cast shot for 40 days on a cruise ship, traveling from Newcastle to Spain, Normandy, Honfleur, and back to Plymouth. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 is slated for release on June 6, 2025.
