Ajay Devgn finally reacts to the meme fest over his finger dance in the song ‘Pehla Tu Duja Tu’: 'Mera mazak…'

The online world has been buzzing with reactions to Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn's dance moves in the song 'Pehla Tu Duja Tu' from his upcoming film, 'Son Of Sardaar 2.' Specifically, it's his finger dance step with Mrunal Thakur that has become the talk of the town. Now, Ajay Devgn himself has responded to the online chatter. Displaying a good sense of humor, the actor took the memes in stride. He playfully admitted that the now-viral step wasn't the easiest thing for him to pull off.

During the trailer launch of 'Son Of Sardaar 2,' Ajay Devgn was asked about the viral "finger step" from the song 'Pehla Tu Duja Tu.' He replied, “Aap log mera mazaak udaate ho, lekin, mere liye ye bhi karna bohot mushkil tha. Maine kar diya, uska aap shukra guzaar kijiye. (You all may make fun of me, but even doing this was very difficult for me. I still did it, so at least be thankful for that)."

When questioned about the meme fest that followed, his response was,"I think bohot funny memes hai. That was the idea also. Jab logon ko koi cheez funny lagti hai aur pasand aati hai, toh wohi viral hoti hai. Toh I think we are really happy about that. (I think the memes are really funny — and that was the idea too. When people find something funny and enjoy it, that’s what ends up going viral. So I think we’re really happy about that)."

In a video shared by Miss Malini on Instagram, Kajol's reaction to Ajay Devgn's viral step was one of amusement. She playfully quipped, "I think Ajay Devgn is one of the best dancers we have in the film industry. Because he is the only person now who is able to dance with his fingers. Pehle hota tha ki chal ke aate the toh music uske hisaab se banta tha. Abhi toh sirf ungliyon se kar rahe hain. Ek, do, teen, chaar. (Earlier, actors used to walk and the music would be composed to match their steps. Now, it’s all being done with just fingers—one, two, three, four). I think he is one of the smartest dancers we have in the film industry."
