Shaurya was under a lot of stress, the fire and other stuff and on top of that his industry friends who have been made to stay in his farm house, some who have flown back abruptly without informing after the fire broke out and obviously her. Everything was on his mind making it all too heavy on him.
The fire was not as simple as it seemed to be. At least he wasn't ready to believe it to be. He gave Mandaar too a day off and decided to cool off and spend a day with the friends staying back at his farm house the next day before they go back because he won't be going back with them as he had to sort a lot of things. He had also ordered his men to double-check everything at his home before he goes back there with his family.
He worked with his laptop for about an hour and made a copy of something which was important to him and hid it with himself and saved one to give it to someone he trusted more than himself. Who was also in this together with him and his family. It was about 4:15 am when he finally closed his eyes only to get up at 7 in the morning.
He went to his morning jog and jogged till 8:00 am. Then he did his gym routine till 10:00 am. Though in this much of stress he didn't miss his excercise regime because that was how he relaxed his raging nerves. It was around 11 that he moved to his Delhi residence with his family. He didn't want to take a chance and thus checked all the security arrangements on his own too. He had a little time to relax before his friends came for lunch in his house and thus he went to his room to just be.
He was in his room listening to the soulful songs of his friend Nikita to calm himself down and be well able to enjoy his day ahead. He was meeting his friends Nikita, Ajay and Vicky that day at his residence.
Though Nikita was new in the industry but she made a place for herself quite soon in the industry owning it completely to her melodious voice. She was not only dependent on her singing career for her fame in the page3 world but also owed the same to her business man father who was famous in the packaged food industry and other industries too. Shaurya knew her since then and was proud of her when she made it big in the industry.
His friends were coming from his guest house and Nikita was supposed to pick them and take them to his place because she too had been a Delhi resident and had been to his farm house numerous times for parties but however she chose to stay at her place the day before for the reasons best known to her.
Her boyfriend Ajay, a big music producer however stayed in the farm house because Vicky was too drunk last night to handle himself.
She reached the farmhouse at 12 to pick them up and plan for their fun day that day because Shaurya had been too stressed yesterday and it was necessary that he gets a breath of fresh air.
Meanwhile ,Mehak was traveling out of the main city to the outskirts because she read the news paper and it disturbed her to another level that she needed something to relax herself. She decided for a staycation at her friend Nehal's house for a few days. Though Nehal would be joining her in the evening she was still eager to reach there and meet Kanta Aunty and Jeevan Uncle... people whom she still referred to as her own.
She was on her way when her car broke down and she had to get down because it was actually getting difficult to sit in it because of it getting heated and the AC being inactive all through.
Mehak sat on her wheel chair on a not so frequented road while her driver tried to fix the broken car. Mehak looked at the car and tried to call for a cab but to her badluck(or who knows goodluck) there was no network. The nearest garage too was atleast 15 kms away from that place as told by a passerby on his cycle.
Mehak was getting restless and was cursing her luck, the car and even the driver for what was happening. What irked her even more was that even her caretaker, Sonal was getting busy with her own son ,4 year old son Neev who was getting all cranky and had already started crying. She wasn't really liking Neev at that point. First the heat, the car and now his crying was getting on her nerves.
She wanted Sonal to listen to her cribbing because she had nobody else to crib to but she was busy with her son.
She didn't have anything against kids but she liked to maintain her distance from them. It was not the problem with kids but their innocence that made her feel something amiss in her life...made her feel even more badly about her disability to move on her own. It was not long ago that Neev fell down from the table while playing and though she was very near to him at that time, she couldn't save him from falling and he got 4 stitches on his hand palm. Neev didn't talk to her for 2 days because he thought that she let him fall ... little did he know that she cried herself to bed that night but because she couldn't do anything for him . Since then she has kept her distance with him both emotionally and physically.
Lost in these thoughts, she stared at nothing in particular when a car came and stopped near the tree whose shade they were all in. The luxury car had black windows thus no one could understand whose car it was until the window of the driver's seat rolled down and they saw the person.
Nikita came out of the car along with Ajay who were sitting on the driver's and passenger's seat respectively.
Mehak was relaxed seeing them and asked if they could help her as her car broke down. Nikita and Mehak had work links thus she was not hesitant to ask for her help. She knew Ajay too because of Nikita .
Nikita agreed but said that she couldn't really drop her to her destination as she was going to friend's place with Ajay and Vicky but she promised her that her friend's driver would drop her to her destination safely. Mehak had no option but to agree because it was unlikely to get help there. She agreed and told her driver that she would send him the mechanic and he should be at the destination after that.
Sonal and her driver helped her inside the car on the back seat where Vicky sat. Sonal too settled inside with Neev on her lap. Vicky who was asleep in the journey woke up due to the commotion, saw the unknown faces and smiled. He said hello and went back to sleep.
The journey to Shaurya's house began. Even the universe was conspiring against Mehak so she had to meet him again. She would have said no to the help if she knew who Nikita's friend was. But she didn't and was traveling towards something that she was traveling away from.
