Chapter 4
When Shaurya entered Khanna mansion he saw guest giving blessings to Mahek and handing her some gifts ...he walked towards them ...after walking few steps he stumbled...Karuna saw him coming and she was quick enough to hold him from falling down...but as soon as she held him she realised he was drunk ...Tu sharaab peekar aaya hai ?? I told you na guests are here who came for the mooh dikhayi ceremony ...she questioned him angrily...Maa agar hosh mein rahonga toh apki bahu Ka asli chehra sabko kaisy dekhonga..mooh dikhayi Karni hai na aapko ..mein dikhara hoon mahek Ka asli chehra sabko ..he pulled her hand and walked towards mahek ..Mahek was watching them since the time he entered..she knew he was about to do some nuisance Infront of guests..and she was mentally ready for it ...she wanted Karuna to know the real truth behind Shaurya agreeing for the marriage.... Shaurya came and stood in front of Mahek ...he picked few gifts from the sofa and smiled wickedly looking at her , Kitna pyaar mil raha hai na tumhy yahn khanna mansion mein aany k baad ..but you know this isn't your right place ..tumhari asli jagah jail ki saloqon k peechy hai ..he whispered in her ears ..she pushed him away and the gifts fell down from him hands ... Shauryaaaa ..Karuna shouted loudly and held him ..yeh kya tamasha hai ..come I will take you to your room , she grabbed his hand ...Arey MAA aisy kaisy chalein mooh dikhayi toh karlein pehly ...he replied and walked again towards Mahek ... Shaurya enough...Karuna scolded him angrily...she turned towards the guest and apologized on his behalf and asked them to leave...when guest were leaving Shaurya was trying to hold them requesting them to wait and let him finish what he wants to say but no one stopped..Karuna made him turned towards her and questioned him ...tell me now what you want to say ?? Kya sachai batani hai tujhy ? She questioned angrily... Shaurya went towards Mahek and held her hand ...Maa jis bahu Ka naam lety lety aap thakti Nahi na ..yeh Vicky ki khooni hai ..issi ki wajh se Vicky ne apni Jaan li hai ...he told and pushed Mahek away .....Karuna was shocked to hear it ,she slapped shaurya and he fell on the near by sofa and fell asleep...she asked Mahek about the allegations.. Mahek told her everything about the day when she met Vicky ...Maa iam innocent believe me I don't know why shaurya thinks he died because of me ..Vicky came Infront of me when I was leaving library and handed me a flower and proposed me ..I was in shock...I did the same thing which any other girl would have done ..I slapped him....I didn't knew the depth of his love for me ..after that incident i never saw him again...Mahek cried holding Karuna hands ..Maa shaurya just married me so that he can punish me for Vicky's death .. please trust me Maa ..I am not responsible for his death , you trust me right ?? She questioned her ...Karuna held her both arms ..Mahek I trust you bachaa ..I know Tu Kabhi Kisi ke Saath Bura Nahi Kar Sakti aur mein Vicky ko BHI jaanti hoon Woh itna kamzoor Nahi ke ek thappad ki wajah se ya kisi ladki ke rejection ki wajah suicide karega ..patah Nahi sach kya hai magar mein tere Saath hoon ...Karuna pacified her
Aawara shifted shaurya to his room and Mahek slept with Karuna ..whole night Karuna was unable to sleep ..so was Mahek .. Should I ask you something Mahek ? Will you reply me honestly? Karuna questioned while laying back to the bed ..Haan Maa ..I have never lied in my life.. you can ask me anything....Do you want to continue this marriage ? You married shaurya just because the promise you made to your mom right...but I know if Meera would have known the truth she would have never forced you ...Meera isn't in this world but iam still alive and I don't want you to stay in this hate marriage...Mahek took a deep breath..Maa many times I have thought that I will make him believe that I am not the culprit but I know shaurya will never believe me , and for the whole life I have to live with this burden ,my face will always remind him of Vicky , she replied ...I have a solution for this Karuna told her ... Solution?? What Mahek questioned ...You sleep now for some time we will talk about this tomorrow morning...Karuna replied and tried to sleep and even Mahek slept after few minutes..
Next morning shaurya woke up with a heavy head , Karuna entered the room with a lemonade , Hoon Morning Maa shaurya greeted with a smile while holding the glass ..but Karuna turned around without replying him anything..she moved towards the window..Shaurya held his head and tried to understand the reason behind his mother's changed behaviour ,he tried to remember what happened last night, he realised that he had told her the truth of Mahek and she will understand he had married her to take revenge , He moved out from his bed and walked towards his mom ..Maa iam sorry, mainy patah nahi sharaab peekar patah Nahi kya bakwaas kardi , sab jhooth hai ma , he tried to cover up , Karuna turned and faced him...Haan sab jhooth hai. .tere ilzaam jhoothy hai ..tuny Jo Meera se waada Kiya Woh bhi jhooty hai aur yeh Shaadi ..yeh bhi jhooth hai ...Karuna replied angrily...Nahi Maa aisa Nahi hai , iam happy with this marriage ..he lied , Happy o really..Dekha mainy Tu kal Kitna Khush hai ab aur jhooth mat bol mujh se , Shaurya was about to reply when their was a knock on the door ... Aawara was standing on the door with a big envelope in his hand ...Come in Aawara ..Karuna ordered..She took the envelope from Aawara and handed it to shaurya..Yeh kya hai Maa ? Shautya questioned ...Mainy koi tohfa Nahi Diya tha na Shaadi Ka ...Issy Mera tohfa samjh....Sign this before you join us for breakfast....Karuna left the room and shaurya was shocked to see the papers ...I won't sign it come what may ...shaurya told to himself and throwed the papers on the bed ..
