Shuarya came back to his room and keeps roaming around in his room thinking all the past events happened with him and Mehak. He found all the incidents weird especially those time when Mehak was around him. He tried to divert his mind somewhere else but Mehak was the only thing which came in his mind. At the same time, his friends barged in without any knock which made him more scared. He literally jumped on his place and shouted on them "What the hell? You guys scared me!!" But his friends didn't paid any heed on his words and settled themselves on his bed and bean bags comfortably, silently. He was shocked seeing them reacting like this and asked "What?"

They didn't answered to his questions. Sakshi stood up from her place and began to take out his clothes silently. She picked up off-white colored pajama kurta from his wardrobe and kept it aside on the table. Shurya quietly saw this and didn't said anything. He picked them up and began to keep it back when Megha came from behind and snatched them from his hands and gave back to Sakshi saying "Take this to your room. Iron it well and give it back to this JERK!!"

"Meg-" Shaurya tried to say something but cut off by Khithij "Dare you say any word to my wifey, Shaurya Khanna!!" He warned him, pointing his index finger. Shaurya sighed and asked "What do you guys want? Why are you behaving like this? What happened?"

"Nothing happened. We are just preparing for tomorrow Lohri. That's it." Raunak replied, playing in his phone.

"I'm not coming" He replied.

"Fine, don't come. Guys, pack up our bags, we are leaving for Mumbai. Right away. Na na na, we are leaving for Ludhiana, right away. Waha pe humari families wait kar rahi hai. Let's go!!" Megha replied, sternly.

"Megha!!" Shaurya shouted her name.

"What? Shaurya Khanna, Don't raise your voice. We too know how to raise our voice. Don't you dare shout on me. I'm not your Dad, Got it!!" She replied back, furiously.

"Megha!!" Shaurya again shouted her name.

"Kab tak uss baat ko leke baithe rahega Shaurya? It's been 5 years already. Ab bas bhi kar yaar!! Yeh baat tu bhi jaanta hai ki usme Uncle ki koi galti nahi thi. Saari galti to Shi-" Raunak left his statement incomplete as Shaurya punched him on his face.

"Shaurya!! How dare you??" Sakshi slapped him hard and pushed him away. She helped her hubby to stand up. Raunak mouth started bleeding, he wiped his face and spoke angrily.

"Wah! Sahi hai Sahurya Khanna.. dosti ka yahi inaam diya tune. Sahi hai yaar!! Agar itna gussa aa raha hai to jaa aur sabko bata de ki Mehak hi wo ladki hai jiske karan tune 5 saal pehle ghar choda tha aur ab jab wo tere saamne teri Bhabhi ki behen banke saamne aayi hai to tu gehre sadme mein hai. Jaa!!!" Raunak shouted his lungs out. Shaurya looked at him, all shocked and in anger broke the vase, kept on side table and left his room angrily.

"Ab kaha bhaag raha hai? YOU BLOODY COWARD!!! Come Back!!!" Khisthij shouted.

(A/n : Hawww!! Ye kya hua? Shaurya pehle se Mehak to jaanta tha? He punched his best friend? Then why behaved so casually? What happened 5 years ago? His friends always knew everything? So much of drama. Ufff!! So many questions na? Let me give you answers then, I have changed the plot little bit ;P All your questions will be answered after Lohri :P One more thing, Shaurya's room is sound proof, to jo kuch bhi band kamre mein hua uski khabar kisi ko bhi nahi lagi :P)

Here, Mehak cried hard and shouted loudly "Why you hate me so much? Kya galti thi meri, yahi ki maine aapki baat nahi maani aur US chali gayi thi? Ya fir main uss ladke se nahi mili jisse aap milwana chahti thi? Aakhir kya galti thi meri MOM? Why?" She shouted.

She picked up her phone and opened phone gallery. She scrolled few photos and started talking with one pic furiously "I Hate You!! I Bloody Hate You!! I Hate You Shivin Khurana!!" She throws her phone and shouted aggressively "I'll destroy you! I'll take everything away from you!"

She stood up and head backs to Khanna Mansion. She came back to Mansion and was going to her room when she collided with Shaurya. Both saw at each other, both were hurt, angry and emotional at the same time. By seeing her, Raunak's words starts to ring his ears and he clenched his hand into tight fist. Mehak doesn't want to face him so she quickly withdraws her eyes from him and leaves for her room murmuring "Sorry!" to him slowly, much audible to him. Shaurya looked at the way she left and sighed loudly. He closed his eyes and face palmed himself. He leaves the Mansion and comes to same place where few minutes back Mehak was there. He shouted "Ahhh" loudly, releasing his frustration. He looked around an saw her phone. He picks it up to check whose phone it was? Luckily, phone was safe and it was opened. He looks into the phone and after seeing one picture he throws the phone so hard that it broke into pieces immediately. His eyes got red in anger and he hit the side wall very hard from his injured hand "Why? Why I came back here? Why? I Hate You Shi-" He left his statement incomplete and again punches the wall.

Here, Pioneers were still in their room, thinking what happened few minutes back. Sakshi was crying seeing her hubby's injured face. Khistij and Megha too were worried about the incident. Manasavi came to his room and saw everyone worried and Sakshi crying. She hurriedly goes to Sakshi and asks her "Sakshi, kya hua? Kyu ro rahi ho tum? Kuch hua hai kya? Shuarya kaha hai?" She looked at others and saw Raunak's lips bleeding "Raunak? Yeh kya hua tumhe? Tum theek ho? Koi kuch batayega kya hua hai? Shaurya kaha hai?" She screamed, seeing no one is answering.

"We are going back today Bhabhi" Raunak replied, coldly. Everyone saw at him in shocked.

"What?" Manasavi questioned.

"You heard me right, we are leaving for Ludhiana, today itself. I think it's high time to back off." He said. Sakshi tried to say something but Raunak showed her his eyes. She didn't said anything and left the room crying. Megha went behind her and Khisthij dragged Raunak along with him saying "Bhabhi, don't mind him. Just give us some time. I'll sort out everything. You please just go and check on Shuarya. These guys fought over something and he left in anger. I'm sorry and please don't worry."

Manasavi stood there clueless and hurt. She sighed and called Mehul "I want to talk to you. Right Now!!" She left the room and began to search Shaurya. She was confident that Shaurya is not in the mansion, so she straight away left the mansion and went there, where she will definitely find him. On her way, she texted Mehul to come at the same place. As it's high time to knock some piece of mind in Shaurya's pea size brain.

Here, Mehak began to write something in her diary. She cried while writing and don't know when she sleep took over her.

At the dinner time, everyone got gathered on the dining table. Manasavi brought the dinner and began to serve everyone. Mehak helped her in serving, she first, served to Biji and then to Krishna and then to Devendra.

Shaurya was sitting quietly and was observing Pioneer's activity quietly. He didn't have any courage to say anything to them.

After serving everyone, Mansavi and Meha too took their places and everyone began their dinner. Biji saw everyone is quiet and eating quietly, so to make dinner interesting she began to talk.

"Oye khotiya, tu Mehak se mila ya nahi?" She asked Shaurya. His hands stopped in air and he looked at her, wide eyed. He gulped his saliva and shook his head in No.

"Menu pata si, yahi hona hai. Manasavi, tu kya boli thi? Biji main milwa dugi.. kya hua fir?" She said, annoyed.

"Biji, wo kaam mein busy ho gayi thi, so bhul gayi. Sorry!" She replied.

"Koi na, main milwa deti hu. Sun, Khotiya, Ye Mehak hai, Inna to tu bhi jaan gaya hai. Yeh Manasavi ki choti behen hai to iska khyaal rakhi. Tu isse pehle nahi mila hoga kyuki Mehul aur Manasavi ki shaadi ke time ye US mein thi" She said. Shaurya shook her head in Yes. She continued "Aur, Mehak Puttar (looking at her, smiling) ye hai mera khota sikka, mera doosre number ka pota Shaurya, vada wala singer hai. hai to yeh Vicky se vada par iski harkatein 2 saal bache jaisi hai." She finished. Everyone smiled at her satement, Shaurya looked at his Biji in dibelief and made a bad face. Mehak didn't knew what to reply, so she continued eating and stuffed her mouth with full spoon of rice. She choked and began to cough loudly. Krishna began to rub her back and made her drink water, as she was sitting close to her. Manasavi too got up from her seat and made her sister comfortable. Mehak ignored her and said "I'm okay!" Mansavi knowing her inner turmoil, left her side and sat back on her place.

Mehul sees Pioneers and Shaurya not talking, so to lighten the atmosphere he speaks "Raunak, kal ki taiyari ho gayi? Kal to bhangra shangra paana hai. Taiyaar ho jao, kyu Khishtij?"

"Off course Bhai, Kal inn ladkiyon ko j harana hai!" Khishtij replied, winking and laughing, trying to lighten the atmosphere. Raunak was about to say but Megha chirped in "kya matlab hai tumhara ladkiyon ko harane se? Oh hello janab, yaha sab jaante hai ki hum ladkiyan, ladko se zyada achcha gidda paati hai. Kyu Sakshi?" She nudged Sakshi to say something. Sakshi, at first hesitantly looked at raunak but seeing him, not responding she said "Off Course! Tu bhul gayi, maine to bhangre mein PhD. kiya hua hai.." She said, making everyone chuckle. Shaurya too smiled listening her non sense.

Raunak too smiled a little bit, listening his cute wife silly words. He chirped in "Is that so Sakshi? By the way kis university se tumne PhD. kiya hai Bhangra mein? Yeh bhi bata do sablo!!" He teased her. Shaurya smiled, after seeing his buddy smiling and talking to his wife nicely. Sakshi smiled, but hides it and spoke "Tumse matlab?"

"Arre, merko jaan na hai taaki main kal tumhara talent dekh saku aur jaanu ki wakai firls mein zyada power hai boys se. Kyu Vicky?" He said, winking. Sakshi and Megha frowned and spoke angrily "Are you calling for a battle Raunak?"

"Why not? Why? Are you scared?" Khishtij said.

"Girls are not scared of anything Mr Malhotra!!" This time Mehak spoke, confidently. Everyone looked at her, even Shaurya looked at her smirking. Manasavi looked at her hubby and showed him thumbs up. Mehul winked back at her. They both planned this and they knew "Girls vs. Boys battle" is the ultimate solution to every problem for youth.

"Really Ms Sharma?" Shaurya said. Mehak looked at him and gave him sarcastic smile "Off course Mr Khanna! Why? Do you have any doubt?" She said. Elders didn't spoke anything and enjoyed bickering session.

Shaurya chuckled at her statement and said in her attitude "Shaurya Khanna, na to kisi se dara hai aur na hi kabhi darega!" Mehak rolled her eyes on his over confidence "So much over confidence, sometimes to leads towards self destruction Mr Khanna. Beware of it!!" She warned him.

He again and smiled "Is that so Ms Sahrma? Wuhooo, I'm scared!! What to do now? What about battling? Disco Vs Bhangra? or even better, Girls Vs Boys? Isse yeh bhi pata chal jayega ki kaun kinna paani mein hai aur kaun kinna strong hai kis se?" He said, winking at others. Mehak saw at him with attitude "Fine, let's do it. Boys Vs Girls!! Tomorrow at Lohri Party. Aap to aayege hi.. Kyu?" She questioned.

Shaurya without any hesitation "Off Course! Hum zaroor aayege aur jab hum aayege to.." He left his statement incomplete and left the place whistling and winking at her, leaving everyone shocked behind and Mehak furious.. Actually Shaurya answered without thinking anything and somewhere made his family and friends happy, agreeing to attend Lohri. Even Raunak chuckled "Kamina kahi ka!! Loser!!"

Mehak sighed in frustration and too leaves for her room.

"Krishna, aaj khaane mein tune kuch milaya tha kya? Ya fir aaj suraj kahi aur se uga tha? Ya fir mere kaan baj rahe hai? Shaurya kya kal ke liye Haan bol ke gaya hai abhi abhi?" Biji said. Everyone looked at her and laughed seeing her reaction. She never expected that Shaurya will agree so soon to come.

"Bebe, aapka khota sikka lagta hai sudhar gaya hai!!" Devendra said, in teasing tone. Biji smacked his arms "Chup kar Khotiya!" Devendra frowned at her "Kya hai bebe, bache hai yaha!!" He whined. Biji mimicked him and make fun of him. Everyone finishes their dinner happily and leaves for their room.

In Raunak and Sakshi's room, Sakshi was running behind Raunak with pillow in her hands, to beat him black and blue, for getting angry on her "Kaha bhaag rahe ho? Ruko!! You Rascal, mujhe aankhein dikhaayi.. tumhe to main abhi batati hu. Rukooo!! Kaha bhaag rahe ho?? Rukooo!!!"

"Ahhh.. Sakshi. Stop!! Lag jayegi yaar kya kar rahi ho? Log kya sochege, ki patni apne ek laute pati ki dhulaai kar rhai aur wo bhi aadhi raat mein??? Stop it yaar!!!" Raunak said, running to save his life.

"Pati? My foot!!! Ye Pati uss time kaha bhaag gaya tha jab uski Patni roke room se bhaag gayi thi ha?" She said, still running behind him.

"Sakshi, meri baat suno ha? Hum shaanti se bhi to baith ke baat kar sakte hai na? Home Violence ki kya zaroorat hai? Let sit and talk.. Okay?" He said, hiding behind sofa. Sakshi dodged pillow at him "Kabhi nahi, idhar aao tum. Tumhe to aaj maine nahi chodna!!" She said, climbing on sofa and clutching his shirts collar. In this process, both fell down on the floor, Sakshi on Raunak. He whined as he got hurt and Sakshi laughed on his condition. Raunak pulled her close and she stopped laughing "Bohot hasi aa rahi hai Wifey? Kaho to hasi band karwa doo?" He said huskily, givinh ger goosebumps. She looked at him wide eyed and gets up at once and ran into washroom, all flustered. Raunak laughed at his wifey cute antics and stood up ruffling his hair. He goes towards washroom and starts to manofy her Wifey to come back, so that he can explain what happened and why he did all that? After manofying for minimum 15 minutes and agreeing upon few conditions, she came out. As soon as, she came out Raunak hugged her tightly and after few more teasing session he finally tells her why he did all that. Sakshi, being good listener listens to him carefully and smiles after understanding everything. He praised him and apologize to him. Raunak just hugged her in return and after preparing for tomorrow and talking to their parents via Skype, they call it off for the day.

Here, in Khisthij and Megha's room, same situation happened, but in their case Khishtij ended up sleeping on couch as Megha literally warned him and ask him to choose between two options, either to sleep on couch or in her hall. Poor Khishtij, having no other option and knowing his wifey anger, agreed to sleep on couch, but he knew that Megha, herself will come to him, as she can't sleep without him. They too called it for the day, after preparing for next day.

(A/n : Poor Pioneer Boys, I pity them *rofling* Devil me!! *evil laugh*)

Here, in Mansavai and Mehul's room, they both were cuddling to each other, feeling each other presence. Manasavi was at peace knowing that what they told to Shaurya was enough to make him realise Mehak's importance in his life. She thanked Mehul's and snuggled more in his arms. Mehul too welcomed her, and they both slept in each other arms happily, eagerly waiting for next day.

(A/n : I wanted to explain what they told to Shaurya and why did Raunak did all that, but I kept it on hold for suspense ;P)

On the other side, in Mehak's and Shaurya's room. Both kept tossing on their bed and kept thinking about the challenge. Sleep was far away from them. Mehak was furious and was thinking how to make Shaurya lose, and Shaurya, well, he was thinking what his Bhai and Bhabhi told him. He was both, worried and excited for tomorrow. After more of tossing, both of them did't knew when sleep took over them and finally their day ended.

Next Morning, Lohri Day!!

The whole Khanna Mansion was on fire. Everyone running here and there, busy in preparations and invitations. No one has time for sitting and resting for a little bit. Biji kept ordering everyone and asking everyone to do their work properly and neatly.

Finally, the most awaited evening came and everyone came out of their room, all dressed up. Ladies dressed themselves in patiala salwar kameez, fully in punjabi style, looking all ethereal and beautiful. Gents got ready in pathani suit, looking all dashing and handsome.

Shaurya was outside, in that area, where Lohri pooja will be done. He was checking out for all the items which will required for the pooja and confirming them from Pandit. He wore the same suit which his friends took out from him. He was looking all handsome and cool. At the same time, his Dad came to that place. He smiled seeing his son, doing things perfectly. Shaurya looked at him, both felt awkward with each other presence. Devendra gave him small smile, which Shaurya passed with full smile and goes towards him. He went tho his Dad and touched his feet and wished him Happy Lohri. Devendra felt so happy that he immediately hugged him. Shaurya too got little emotional and hugged him back, with full force. They both cried silently in each other arms and forgets their bitter past.

Everyone saw Father-Son reunion and cried in happiness. Biji slowly scolded them for crying and blessed her family and thanked God for making this day special for their family.

Everyone gathers around Lohri bonfire place, Devendra ignites the pure Lohri fire and pooja starts.

(A/n : I don't know much about Lohri pooja and rituals related to it. So I'm penning down my imaginations. Please pardon me if I hurt anyone feelings in anyway.)

Biji starts the pooja and everyone joins her, She orders to bring sesame seeds, jaggery, sugarcane sticks, Rewaries, popcorn and several other items. Mehak and Manasavi brings in the items and distributes it to everyone. Shaurya gets flattened seeing Mehak looking so beautiful and ethereal in her white patiala suit. She kept her hair open and just wore big jhumkas and bangles in her hands, in the name of accessories.

Everyone dances around bonfire, and throws all the items in the bonfire singing, teasing each other, praying and laughing. Shaurya kept stealing glances of Mehak, seeing her happy, laughing and enjoying, makes him happy automatically. Mehak caught him twice, and smiles when she saw him flustered.

They sang the following song, while roaming around the bonfire. The following song words to express gratitude to Dulla Bhatti (the 'ho's are in chorus):

The pooja ended on the happy note. Younger ones touched elders feet for blessings and elders feeds younger ones sweets for happy beginning of the year.

The main attraction of the Lohri Party was the Pioneers. Khanna's invited Pioneers Member's parents for the party and everyone came. After the pooja, everyone demanded a song from Pioneers. Firstly, they denied but later on agreed and performed on Nagada Nagada from Jab We Met. Everyone cheered for them and enjoyed a lot.

They were chit chatting and having fun, when suddenly one girl came with a mike "Hello, hello, mic testing. 1,2,3... Hello! Sastriyakaal, Oh ji, aaj Lohri hai aur sab menu bhul gaye? Yeh to sarasar galat hai!!!" Shaurya smiled ear to ear after listening the voice and hooted loudly.

"Par yeh kya, ye Lohri party kam aur Corporate party zyada lag rahi hai!!! Oye saari kudiyo, kithe mar gayi? Oye mundiyao.. kithe gaye sab ke sab? Arre, thoda bhangra pangra pao, Oh Ji, thode dholak wolak bajao. Humara welcome karo, after all, Nehal Khuarana aayi hai yaar!!" Finally, that girl revealed her name and smiled. Everyone hooted for her and with that dholak starts beating and everyone dances and enjoys a lot.

After the dance, something happens which brings up the Girls vs Boys dance battle which automatically gets converted into Disco vs Desi dance, with this Girls and Boys comes in front of each other.

Shaurya leads the Boys group and Mehak leads the Girls group. Girls ties their dupatta on the side whereas Boys ties colored clothes on their heads.

Shaurya - "Abhi bhi soch lo, tum ladkiyon ke paas waqt hai. Kahi haar na jao hum ladko se!!" He said teasing them.

Mehak - "Soch lia Mr Khanna. Aap to apni fikar kijiye. Kyu kudiyo??" She said, confidently.

Raunak - "To fir ho jaye?" He said.

Sakshi - "Ho jaye!!" She said.

Khishtij - "Theek hai to fir, Oye! shuru ho jaa!!" He said loudly.

Drummers starts to beat drums.

Girls and Boys both dance at the drum beats in the start. Boys teases Girls on the drum beats and Girls looks at Boys with angry eyes. Mehak starts singing on getting frustrated.
