I wanna thank everyone who took time from their busy schedule and read my Maha Update. I'm grateful to all of you. I know you all are confused but I also know this that after reading this update your half confusion will get cleared coz I have shown half flashback of what happened 5 years ago. I tried my level best to tell everything clearly and showed everyone's emotions. I'm also uploading Shivin's picture in this note in the beginning so that you can relate him with the update. I really hope you connect him with story and think of him as Shivin. And yes, this update is dedicated to all my readers (silent readers too) as I don't get so much readers and this is heartbreaking but I'm happy with the fact that I get support and love from you all people. (I really liked his negative role in Tashan-e-ishq so in my story he is Shivin Khurana, handsome and charming yet cruel :P)
The party was going on in full swing, everyone was enjoying, chatting, laughing. Shaurya was sitting at one corner, thinking something very deeply, looking at bonfire. Suddenly, his eyes fell on Mehak, who was standing in front of him across the bonfire, talking and laughing with girl gang. He smiled seeing her laugh carefree and enjoying to the fullest. He, once again got lost in her beauty. Mehul came to his side and sat beside him. Shaurya didn't noticed his presence, Mehul saw him staring at Mehak with full passion and smiled on his little brother antics. He fake coughed, which broke his little brother trance and he chuckled. Shaurya being caught got embarrassed and looked at other side slightly scratching his nape.
"What were you thinking so deep looking at her?" Mehul asked him, handling him the glass of wine and taking the sip from his own glass.
"Nothing." Shaurya replied plainly, taking sip from his glass.
"Really? I thought you were going to bore a hole on her face by looking so intently at her." Mehul said in teasing voice. Shaurya gets annoyed and rolled his eyes at him. Mehul chuckled lightly' Shaurya too smiled a bit. They both sat quietly and have their drinks.
"I'm happy for you. I'm happy that you came back and met her again" Mehul spoke suddenly, looking at Mehak, who was now talking with Manasavi, happily. Shaurya looked at him and then at Mehak, who was looking quite comfortable with Manasavi, after last day incidents.
"I don't know Bhai. I really don't know." Shaurya sighed.
"Why? Have you forgotten what we told you?" Mehul said. Shaurya looked at him and then at bonfire, he started to remember what they talked about yesterday.
(A/n : Acha, Now I'm going to give flashback of both the times, Day before Lohri and of happened 5 years ago together. Each time I'll mention when it'll be day before Lohri and when it'll be other time. :P)
Flashback (Day before Lohri)
When Shaurya was punching the wall in anger, Manasavi showed up. She saw him hurting himself. She immediately ran over to him and slapped him tightly. Mehul too came by the time. Shaurya being angry raise his hand to slap the person who stopped him doing, what he was doing, but stopped seeing her in front of him. He clenched his hand into tight fist and punched it on the wall, Manasavi, at once got scared seeing him in so much anger. Mehul came running to her, seeing her trembling in fear. He immediately side hugged her and calmed her down. After that, he goes to Shaurya who was standing back facing them, closing his eyes to calm down himself. Mehul turned him around to face him but he denied. At last having no option Mehul, by full force turned him around and slapped him very hard, causing him fall down on the floor. Manasavi stood up at her place shouting his name in fear "Mehul!!"
"What do you think of yourself? Haan?" Mehul asked him, making him stand on his feet by grabbing his collar. Manasavi ran to him and asks him to stop by trying to free them but it seems like today Mehul has no plans to leave him so easily.
"Bolna, what do you think of yourself? Are you some Prince or any are you the only one in this whole planet who is hurt? Aur tujhe kya lagta hai, yeh sab karne se past sudhar jayega.. haan? Tujhe kya lagta hai aise yooh khud ko hurt karne se tera gussa shaant ho jayega ya fir tu unn yaadon se peecha chuda lega jinse tu pichle 5 saalo se bhaag raha hai? Bolna, kya soch raha tha tu?" Mehul asked him. He slapped him, when he didn't give him any answer. He again grabbed his collar "Tujhe pata bhi hai ki tu kya kar raha hai? Abhi abhi tu kya karne wala tha? Bol na, chup kyu khada hai? Say something damn It!!!" He pushed him away, slapping him again. Manasavi tried to stop her husband, who went all aggressive seeing his own little brother trying to hurt his Bhabhi, who loves him like her own brother. He was hurt seeing his brother hurting himself and punishing himself for something which he never did.
"Stop it! Just stop it Mehul!! Kya kar rahe hai aap? Wo aapka Bhai hai, aapka Chota Bhai!! Why?" Manasavi shouted her lungs out, seeing her husband and her Devar in so much pain.
"To pucho apne is laadle Devar se ki khud ko kyu itni taqleef de raha hai jab isse poora sach hi nahi pata ki 5 saal pehle kya hua tha? Pucho isse ki kyu ye Dad ko, khud ko, hum ko, poori family ko, apne dosto ko, itni badi saza kyu de raha hai jab isse yahi nahi pata ki 5 saal pehle jo kuch bhi hua tha usme na to Dad ki koi galti thi, na iski aur na hi Mehak ki.. saari galti to uss Khurana ki thi!!" Mehul spoke angrily. Manasavi cried hard hearing her husband words and remembering the past. Shaurya, who was looking down few minutes, looked up instantly hearing his Bhai's words.
"Wh-what do-do you mea-mean b-by-" He didn't complete his statement and looked at his Bhabhi for his answers. He goes to her and asked her by holding her shoulders "Bha-bhabhi, ye Bhai ky-kya keh rahe hai? Ky-kya nahi pata mujhe? Ky-kya hua th-tha 5 saa-saal pehle? Bolo Bhabhi?"
Manasavi didn't said anything and cried more keeping her head low. Shaurya gets irritated seeing no one answering to his questions. So, he shouted "Say something Damn It!!!! kya hua tha 5 saal pehle jo mujhe nahi pata? Bolo!!!!!" He fell down on his knees crying loudly.
Mehul and Manasavi looked at him and goes to him, to console him. Mehul hugged him and cries with him, Manasavi too sat in front of him crying hysterically.
"Batao na Bhai, kya hua tha 5 sal pehle? Please Bhai, I beg you!!" Shaurya said, folding his hands in front of him. Mehul get hold of his hands and hugged him tightly. He cried in his Bhai's arms like a small baby. Mehul too like a father cocooned his little brother in his arms and let him cry. Manasavi too sobbed seeing their love for each other.
After sometime three of them were sitting on the benches, they were normal by that time. Shaurya was sitting in middle with Mehul on his left and Manasavi on his right. He was looking down, playing with his bands on his wrist.
"I'm sorry Bhai, Bhabhi!" He said, still looking down. Both of them smiled and Mehul kept his hand on his shoulder saying "It's okay! We understand!" Shaurya looked at both of them and seeing them smiling, he too smiled and blinked his eyes.
"Kya hua tha 5 saal pehle jo mujhe nahi pata?" He spoke again, after a long pause. Both of them looked at him and then at each other. Shaurya looked at both of them and then spoke again "I know kuch to bohot bada hua tha, I always felt that way but main kabhi pata nahi laga paaya." He turned towards his Bhabhi and spoke holding her hands between in his hands "Batayie na Bhabhi, kya hua tha?" Manasavi sighed and takes out her one hand from his hold and cupped his face "Do you really wanna know what happened back then?" Shaurya kept his hand on her hand and shook his head in Yes. Manasavi looked at Mehul and blinked her eyes.
Mehul sighed and stood up, he comes in front of Shaurya and kneels down in front of him. He takes both his hand "First promise us, you will listen to us carefully and won't get angry, you will not react immediately and will remain silent and calm. Promise?" He said, forwarding his hand in front of him. Shaurya after thinking for few minutes agrees took his hand and promises them.
"Great!" Mehul said, smiling and stood up again. He goes in front and starts narrating everything what happened back then, back facing him, keeping his hands in the pockets "Tujhe yaad hai jab tune 5 saal pehle apna pehla solo performance dia tha tere college ke Cultural Fest mein?
"Yes, I remembered. It was my first ever performance, how can I forget that day. But why are you asking me this? Shaurya said. Mehul turned back "Well, all that began from that day itself.. He said, looking at Manasavi. She looked back at him and gave him a small sad smile. Shaurya gets confused and said "What? What do you mean?
Flashback (5 years ago)
It was Shaurya's final year in MBA when that Cultural Fes wast held in his College. He too participated in the Fest, in musicals. It was the first time he participated in something during his MBA programme and that too because of his best friend Shivin's constant nagging. He, with half heart participated in the auditions. On the day of audition, everyone were gathered in the auditorium, waiting eagerly for their turn. Shaurya and his Best Friend Shivin were sitting at the back seats of auditorium tuning their guitars for the performance, they were talking, laughing and were commenting on participants performance and other stuff. They were completely lost in their world but suddenly their trance got broken when they heard very beautiful, melodious voice of one girl singing on the stage. Both of them looked at the stage and got captivated by the girl and her voice immediately. Shaurya was completely lost in her voice, he even closed his eyes getting all mesmerized by the voice. Shivin too got mesmerized by the voice, he began to make her video.
That girl was wearing off shoulder pink color top and white jeans, She had kept her hair opened which were flowing in the air, making her look more angelic and beautiful with spotlight on her. She was singing the song "Galliyan from the movie "Ek Villain. She sang whole song beautifully in her melodious voice. The shocking thing was that she sang the whole song looking at Shaurya, who was completely enjoying her performance. She was smiling looking at him but soon saw somewhere else when she saw Shiving making the video and was staring at her, his gaze made her uncomfortable. She ended the song with a smile and with this Shaurya opened his eyes to look at her. Whole auditorium clapped for her performance, she was smiling cheerfully and thanking everyone. He smirked seeing her smiling, he too clapped for her. Shivin too smirked (evilly) and clapped for her. She looked at both of them again and after finding that both of them were looking at her, she immediately withdrew her gaze and left the stage. Shaurya chuckled on her actions and again sat down on his place to tune his guitar. Shivin too sat down "Wow! She was amazing. Isn't she? He complimented, taking his guitar to tune. Shaurya didn't said anything just smiled and kept tuning his guitar. Shivin rolled his eyes at him for being so boring "You are boring Bro!! Huhh!! He commented "I'm leaving. Bye!! He said, taking his guitar with him. Shaurya chuckled and shook his head in disbelief, seeing his friend again trying to flirt with some girl. He didn't pay any attention on him and again got busy in tuning his guitar.
Shivin, after leaving Shaurya's side goes to find the same girl. He saw her moving towards cafeteria, he goes behind her and grabs her hand from behind but that girl immediately twists his hand on his back. Shivin shrieked in pain "Ouch!!
"What do you think you were trying to do? Who are you? What do you want? That girl said, twisting his hand more. Shivin shrieks more in pain "Leave my hand!! He said, trying hard to free his hand but fails every time in front of that girl's tight grip.
"First answer me!! That girl said again.
"Fine. I'll give you answer but first please leave my hand. Please, it's hurting. Please!!He said. That girl let go of his hand and pushed him in front with jerk. Shivin stumbles on his foot but doesn't fall. He cries in pain taking his hand in other hand and shouts on her "Are you human? No, Are you a girl or what? Ouch.. It hurts!! That girl sighs and approaches towards him to smack him again but he moves back in fear. That girl sighs and rolled her eyes at him, folding her hands.
"Hey! Hey! Hey! Take it easy women. I'll answer to your questions He said.
"Fast! She demanded.
"Are you a celebrity? He asked, but stopped seeing her angry eyes.
"Fine. Don't show your eyes. He sighs and spoke again "Hello, I'm Shivin Khurana. MBA, final year student. He introduced himself, smiling fully.
"What should I do with that? That girl said. He looked at her in disbelief "What the hell? Oh hello.. I'm introducing myself. Don't you have manners, if someone is telling you their name then it is your duty to tell them your name too? he said.
"What if I say no? That girl said. Shivin smirked seeing her confidence.
"You are really something. He said.
"Yeah, you are right. I'm really something. I'm black belt in karate. Wanna see my skills again? She said, approaching towards him. Shivin runs away from there to save his life. After he leaves, that girl toward the cafe door and laughs out loud thinking of his condition but stops immediately after seeing other girl looking at her with her one eye raised.
"What? What are you looking at? Didn't you saw he was trying to flirt with me? I mean, C'mon he was trying to flirt with Mehak Sharma! Huh.. Bloody Asshole!! That girl confidently said her name. Yes! That girl was none other than Mehak.. Mehak Sharma, only daughter of famous industrialist Harish Sharma and Meera Sharma. She was first year student of MBA, black belt holder in Karate, has a huge crush on Shaurya Khanna from her BBA days, and loves singing just because of Shaurya and his charming voice. She was huge fan of Shaurya from those days when he first sang in her college in Inter- College Cultural Fest which was held 2 years ago. That was the first time she saw him and fell for him at the very first sight and from that very day she began to follow him everywhere. She joined the same college from where Shaurya was completing his post graduation course. She even became one year junior to him, just to join his same college but she didn't care about this and just did what she wanted to do. The main reason for giving into Cultural Fest was him only. Shaurya was quite famous in whole Amritsar from his college days, firstly because of hailing from well settled family and secondly for his charming personality and mesmerizing voice. There was no doubt why all girls use to drool over him then how come Mehak can leave behind. She too fell for him just in first sight.
She was thinking about him and was about to leave for auditorium after hearing that Shaurya is going to perform but the other girl who was angry on her held her ears and twisted it. Mehak shrieked in pain "Ouch!! Manu Di, leave it. Ouch.. ouch.. ouch.. It's hurting Di. Ouch!!The other girl leaves her ears "What is this? I came here for you, to meet you and you.. you are not paying attention on me!! So annoying!! The other girl said.
Mehak hugged that girl from behind saying "That's why you are Manasavi Bajaj, my best sister!! She said. Yes, that other girl was Manasavi Bajaj, she was in final semester of fashion designing and very close to Mehak. She came to visit Mehak in her college when she heard from her Maasi (Mehak's Mom) that she is going to perform in her College Cultural Fest.But when she reached her college she saw her getting into fight with some guy again. Actually, Mehak always gets into trouble because of her Karate skills.
"Yeah, Yeah, Fine. Let's go, or else you will your Prince Charming performance. Isn't it? Manasavi teased her. Mehak looked at her with jaw drop and then looks away getting shy.
"Whatever!! Huhh!! She leaves from there. Manasavi chuckled seeing her acts and follows her quietly. They reached at the auditorium and saw Shaurya on the stage, all set with his guitar. He was looking no less than Greek God. Everyone cheering for him, he began to sing. He sang "Hale E Dil from "Murder 2" His voice captivated everyone present in the audi. Mehak saw him with proud in her eyes. In the end, everyone cheered, clapped and hooted for him. He thanked everyone and left the stage but what got his attention was Mehak's presence in front of him and her eye tashan battle with Shivin. He saw Shivin getting scared of Mehak and she trying to scare him, he chuckled and leaves the Auditorium smiling. Manasavi saw this and smiled. She went behind him and called him "Excuse me!!
Shaurya turned towards her "Yes. Me? She nodded.
"What's the matter? He asked her. Manasavi looked everywhere and then spoke "You were great. Nice performance. Congratulations!He smiled in return and left saying "Thank you.
"Nice guy! Manasavi thought and smiled at her own. She turns to leave but collides with a guy and fells down on him. They share an eye lock, she smiled like a fool seeing in that boy's eyes but that boy gets irritated "Ouch.. my hand. Get off me you girl!! He screams on her face. She gets embarrass on her act and quickly stands up and ran from there, murmuring "Sorry slowly, much audible to him. That boy stands up and straightens up his clothes. He looks at that direction where Manasavi left and thinks "What was that? he sighed and looks around. He stops one girl passing by "Excuse me. Have you seen Shaurya somewhere? That girl tells him the way where Shaurya left. He thanked that girl and leaves from there.
Here, in Auditorium, eye battle was still going on between Shivin and Mehak. Manasavi came towards her running and collides with her. Mehak looks at her and found her breathing heavily, she gets worried. Meanwhile, Shivin sneaks out from there to look for his Buddy, who left him alone.
"Di. What's wrong? Are you okay? What happened? Why are you like this? Mehak asks her being worried. Manasavi looked at her and remembers what happened 5 minutes earlier; she shook her head in no and smiled a little bit "nothing. Let's go, we are getting late. Come on! She began to leave. Mehak finds it odd but leaves the topic and goes with her, shrugging her shoulders.
Here, Shaurya reached at parking area and began to leave but stops in his track seeing his brother coming to him, massaging his heads and cleaning his coat. He gets out of his car and goes to him.
"Bhai!! Wassup? What are you doing here? And what happened to your clothes? He asks him. His brother gives him annoyed look and leans on his car, closing his eyes "Don't ask. I was on my way to meet you but then collided with some girl and got hurt. Ahhh.. so annoying! He sighed. Shaurya smiled "Why do you want to meet me? I mean, I didn't knew that Mehul Khanna is so caring and loving towards his younger brother, that he came to see his brother's performance leaving most important meeting back in office!! Hmmm? He teased his brother. Yes, it was Mehul with whom Manasavi collided, eldest son of Khanna's and CEO of Khanna Group of Companies.
Mehul gave him a look "Whatever! Ain't you happy that at least I came? He said annoyed. Shaurya smiled "Awww.. Off couse, I'm happy. Ahhh.. I'm so touched. Really!! He acted cutely. Mehul sighed in disbelief "Eww.. Hey! Stay away from me, or else I'll get sweet tooth. Ufff!! After that both of them laughed and hugged each other.
"You were great. Congratulations!! Mehul complimented him. Shaurya bows down in front of him and thanked him. Both brothers were talking and laughing, standing in the parking area. Suddenly, Shivin came running and hides behind the car, getting scared from Mehak. Khanna siblings saw him and found it odd. Shaurya goes to his side and asks him in slow voice "What happened bro? Why are you hiding? Shivin gets startled by his voice but calms down himself "Oh man, you sacred me. Don't ask, I'm trying to save my life from that girl!! He whispered, pointing toward Mehak who was sitting in the car with Manasavi behind her. Mehul saw both sisters sitting in the car "Oh! That girl! he exclaimed. Shaurya looked at that direction where Shivin was pointing and just saw Mehak. He thought of something and smiled.
"Is she the same girl who was showing you eyes few minutes back? He asked him. Shivin gave him a look but when Shaurya gave him look in return, Shivin shook his head in Yes. Shaurya began to laugh loudly at him "Lolz! You got scared by a girl. Shivin Khurana.. you are really a big time coward and he laughs more.
Shivin stood up when car leaves the parking area, he immediately grabs his collar "I'm not a coward Shaurya Khanna. I'm Shivin Khurana, son of famous industrialist Balwant Khurana. Got it? He said, in warning tone. Shaurya felt something in his voice and attitude but at that time he ignored it and goes to his Bhai. He saw Mehul looking at the way where car left, he called his name.
"Huh? What? Mehul said, all startled. Shaurya shrugged his shoulders. Mehul sighed "Let's go, we are getting late. Shivin are you coming with us? He asked him. Shivin nodded and three of them too left the place.
In Manasavi and Mehak's car, Mehak was sleeping and Manasavi was in deep thoughts. She was unknowingly smiling, thinking of the incident happened in the college but her trance gets broken when she remembered something, she quickly takes out her phone and saw something. She literally screamed, making Mehak and Driver scared. Driver stopped the car with a jerk. Mehak asks her terrified "Kya hua Di? Are you fine? What happened?
Manasavi looked at Mehak with sheepish smile "Sorry, nothing happened. It's just I remembered something. Mehak gave her an angry glare "Kya Di? I thought something big happened... Huh!!
Manasavi apologizes to both of them and thinks "Marr gayi, wo to wahi ladka tha jiska rishta mere liye aaya hai. Rabba!!
Meanwhile, in Shaurya's car, Mehul was driving; Shaurya was sitting with him in front listening music and doing something in his phone and Shivin sleeping on the back seat. Mehul, suddenly thought of something and halts car with a jerk, making Shaurya and Shivin wake up from their la la land.
"Are you ok Bhai? Shaurya asked concerned. Mehul, still in daze shook his head in no.
"Are you hurt somewhere? Shall we go to hospital? Shivin asked him all concerned. Mehul, still in daze again shook his head in no. Both boys looked at each other and gets confused. Mehul quickly takes out his phone and saw something; he frowns after seeing something and bangs his head on the car wheel. Shaurya and Shivin looked at him in surprise.
"What happened Bhai? Shaurya asked concerned. Mehul lifts his head up and looked at him and said "I'm screwed Shaurya!!
"What? Both boys said at once. Mehul sighed, starts the engine and began to drive. On the whole way, Mehul didn't said anything; no matter how much time both boys asked him about the problem, he didn't said anything.
They reached home in next 30 minutes; Mehul straight away went into his room. Shaurya and Shivin kept calling him but he ignored them.
"Ab inhe kya batau ki jis ladki se mera rishta hone wala hai, aaj ussi se maine Shaurya ke college mein pange le liye. Rabba!! Mehul thinks, while going into his room.
"Inhe kya hua achanak se? Shivin questioned.
"I don't know. Shaurya wondered "Let's go! he said, dragging Shivin with him.
Later in the evening, Shaurya was in the room doing something, when suddenly Shivin barged into his room, breathing heavily.
"What happened? Fir se kisi ladki se pit ke aaya hai kya? Shaurya sked him, in teasing voice.
"Kisi ladki se pit ke nahi aaya par lagta hai ab pit jauga. Bacha le Bhai, Nehal aa rahai hai!! He said. Nehal barges in his room with broom in her hand. Shaurya looks at her surprised. Shivin hides behind couch seeing his little sister with broom.
"Hello Nehal! Shaurya greeted her, in surprising tone "But what is this hot look ha? He teases her.
"Where is that coward? She said. Shaurya trying hard to control his laugh "Who?
"Shivin Khurana! She said.
"Ahh.. Shivin! He exclaimed, looking at couch. Nehal follows his eyes and found her elder coward brother legs coming out from behind the couch, she began to march towards him but Shaurya hold of her hand and asks her to wait. She, at first resist but later agrees.
"By the way, why are you looking for him with this broom? Diwali ki safai kar rahi thi uski? He said. Nehal looked at him in anger, he smirked.
"Aap bata rahe ho wo kaha hai yaha fir main Biji ko bulau? She warned him.
"Jab tujhe pata hai wok aha hai to mujhse pooch kyu rahi hai? He said, all annoyed. She smirked "Wo kya hai na, I love to see when Biji scold you! She said. He gave her a look but sighs and signals her to go away. She chuckles and marches towards her brother, as soon as she reaches near couch, she began to beats him up with broom. Shivin screams out loud and curses Shaurya for telling her about him. Shaurya looks their tom and jerry fights and had a good belly laugh.
"Sharam nahi aayi, ek ladki se apna haath tudwa laaye. Besharam kahi ke!! Nehal curses him.
"Ahhh.. Nehal lag rahi hai!! Shivin screamed in pain.
"Tch Tch Tch, sharam kar Khurana, ek ladki se pit ke aa gaya. So bad!! Shaurya teased him. Shivin marches towards him but he hides behind Nehal. She showed him eyes and he backs off and settles on his be, as if he owes it.
"Par yaar kuch bhi bolo wo ladki thi gazab. I mean karate mein black belt hai Bandi aur singing mein nightingale. Wow!! Shivin said dreamingly. Shaurya and Nehal rolled their eyes at him and sigh in despair.
"Inka kuch nahi ho sakta.. I'm leaving! Bye. Nehal leaves the room, after giving last smack to her brother. Shivin frowns and makes bad face, Shaurya smiles at them and settles himself, beside him.
"Grow up! Ab hum bache nahi rahe yaar. Time to do something serious Bro!! Shaurya said, staring at ceiling, thinking of today's incident.
"Kya yaar tu bhi bade logo ki tarah baat kar raha hai. Chill maar yaar, we are still young! Shivin said in his as usual cool way, staring at ceiling. Shaurya looked at him and smiled. Shivin winked back at him.
After a while, Shivin left for his house along with Nehal. Shaurya came back to his room after having fun time with family. He goes to his room balcony and stares at the moon, he unknowingly began to smile thinking about Mehak and what Shivin told him about her. He sighs "See you tomorrow Ms black belt aka Ms Singer! He said and calls it off for a day.
Here, Mehak decides to do sleepover at her Maasi's house. She too after dinner and having great time with her Maasi's family came back to Manasavi's room and stares at moon from the window and smiles thinking about Shaurya. She smiles and thinks "See you tomorrow Mr Rockstar Khanna!!
Shivin too slept thinking about Mehak and decides to talk to her and to know everything about her.
That night, three people slept with different thoughts and with different hopes but no one knew that their this co-incident meetings and their thoughts will lead into something serious issues which will leave them heartbroken and in agony for the rest of their lives. No one knew that two best friends will become enemies for their life, no one knew anything.
Next day, Mehak was getting late for college. She curses her driver for not checking the car before taking her. She was waiting at the bus stand for any bus or taxi but her bad luck that day due to strike she was unable to take any mode of transportation.
"Damn! Strike bhi aaj hi honi thi? Rabba! I'll get late for my lectures! Ahhh!! She cries. Shaurya too got late for the college at day and was on his way to the college. He saw her standing on the bus stand and looking weird. He stops his car and thinks something. After that he goes towards her and stops his car in front of her. Mehak looks at the car but then gets shocked seeing Shaurya in it. She smiles ear to ear like a fool. He chuckles seeing her smiling "Are you waiting for someone? He asked her politely.
His voice breaks her trance "Ahh.. No. I mean Yes, I'm waiting for any bus or taxi but I don't think I'll get one today. I'm really getting late for my lectures!! She said, making a sad pout. He smiled seeing her pout "Oh! If you are getting so late and if you don't feel uncomfortable, I can gave you a ride. He said. She smiles widely after hearing that the crush of her life is asking her for a ride, what if it's just the casual ride till college and out of generosity he asked her for the ride, but for her it was some big dream came true. She immediately said "Yes and sat in the car; he chuckles and starts the engine.
Mehak was so damn happy that she was unable to say anything and just stared at his face all their way. Shaurya tried very hard not to laugh or smile in front of her and tries to concentrate on the road. The journey to college was silent as she was busy staring his face all the time and he was trying not to react in front of her.
After 30 minutes, they reach college on time. Shaurya parks the car in parking area and looks at her. He found his face very near to her, as she leaned down on him trying to take selfie with him, not getting caught. They share an eye lock, but their eye lock remained for 2 minutes as someone honked the car horn, breaking their trance. Both of them parted away and looked at different direction. Mehak closes her eyes tightly getting embarrassed and Shaurya scratched his nape getting nervous.
After few minutes, Shaurya spoke "We reached on time.
Mehak looked at him and then outside, she realizes that they reached "Oh! Yeah. Thank you for the ride. She comes out of the car quickly. She hits her head slightly and curses herself. He too comes out of his car and looks at her, she too looks at him. Both feels awkward, Mehak began to leave but he stops her.
"Ahh.. Wait! He stops her. Mehak closes her eyes thinking that he might say something to her, so she doesn't stop and keeps moving. Shaurya follows her and keep calling for her. Whole college went into shock seeing Shaurya Khanna following a girl and asking her to stop. Mehak was feeling happy and nervous, both at the same time, happy because she saw jealousy in every girl eye for her that Shaurya Khanna is following her and calling her, and nervous because she was finding it bit awkward.
After few minutes, finally Shuarya got hold of her wrist and stopped her. At the same time, Shivin came there and saw everything. He saw Shaurya holding Mehak's hand and she was just smiling and not doing anything to him. He gets angry seeing both of them together and leaves the place, getting jealous.
Here, Mehak turns around to face Shaurya and found him breathing heavily and looking at her disbelief. She bit her lower tongue and looks away.
"Why were you not stopping? I was calling you from last 15 minutes! Shaurya complained, trying to catch his breath. She looks at him "Oh.. I'm sorry. I was getting late for my class, so I didn't heard you. By the way, why were you calling for me? She said sheepishly, placing her hair behind ears. He sighed and forwards her bag "Main to tumhe tumhara bag lautane aaya tha, tum car mein bhul gayi thi so.. She looks at her bag and takes it immediately and closes her eyes for being so careless.
"Thank you and I'm sorry that you got troubles coz of me. She said. He shook his head no "Arre, it's okay. Acha, now go, or else you will get late. Bye! He turns to leave but stops and turns around "What is your name? He suddenly asks her, making her squealed in happiness. Everyone present over here stood their jaw drop open, seeing him talking to some girl so casually and asking for her name.
"Mehak, Mehak Sharma. She replied, happily.
"Mehak He takes her name "Nice name, Mehak. See you later. Bye! he leaves after giving her smile. Mehak stood there wide eyed and look at him going away. She can't believe that Shaurya asked for her name and followed her to return her bag. She felt blessed and enters into her class, humming a sweet melody and getting lost in her Prince charming dreams.
Here, Shaurya too goes in his class and sat on his seat. He smiles thinking about her and takes her name as a prayer "Mehak His trance gets broken when their professor came and lecture got started. Shaurya then remembers about Shivin and looks around for him, he takes out his phone to check the time and finds it odd seeing that today he got late for his class. He messages him between the lectures "Whr r u Bro? Lecture started. R u late 2day? he didn't replied, Shaurya finds it odd and concentrates on lecture.
Here, Shivin was driving car furiously and stops it near a hill. He comes out of the car and shouts loudly "I hate you Shaurya Khanna!! How dare you steal my girl? I'll destroy you!! He brings out beer bottle from his car and drank it at once. That was the moment from where it started. Someone said it true, jealousy makes you monster.
Flashback (Day before Lohri)
Shaurya stood up with jerk "What? That was the reason Shivin started to avoid me? But why? Why he hated me so much, I even left Mehak for him, after knowing that he likes her, then why he did all that with me? he said getting all hurt. Mehul and Manasavi looked at him and felt bad for him. He fell down on his knees remembering how his best buddy started to avoid him and began to fought with him on every small thing.
Flashback (5 years ago)
On same day, after college Shaurya straight away went to his best friend home when he heard that he met with an accident and is badly injured. He was so worried that he too almost hit his car but he got saved. He reach his house and ran up to his room and found him sitting on the bed with caste on his left hand and bandages on his head, his face got some cut. Shaurya hurriedly goes to him and hugs him lightly "Thank God! You are fine. I was so scared!! He said, closing his eyes. Shivin gets irritated but doesn't say anything. Shaurya breaks the hug and asks him that how all this happened. Shivin tried to avoid him but Nehal came at the same time with soup and told Shaurya everything. He gets shocked after hearing that he was drunk and got hit by truck.
"What? He was drunk and driving? Why? How? He asked. He looks at him and found him getting out of bed.
"What were you thinking? What are you doing now? Stay there you jerk!! He said, making him sit again on bed. Shivin not able to control his temper anymore, shouts on him "Shut up. Just shut up and get lost from here. Get out! Shaurya gets shocked seeing him reacting like this and getting angry on him. He thought if he did something wrong.
Nehal too was shocked, as it was the first time in her life she saw his brother shouting on his best friend.
"What? What are you looking at? Didn't you hear me? I said, get lost Shaurya Khanna!! Shivin shouted gain. Shaurya gets up from his place, tears formed in his eyes and he leaves the place silently, getting hurt by his best friend behavior, but then thought might be he got hurt and still have hangover so it is possible that he got irritated and shouted. He cleans his eyes and leaves for his place and decides to meet him later. But little did he knew that whatever he was thinking was all wrong, that whatever he was thinking about his best friend was just an illusion now, because now his so called best friend doesn't consider him his best friend. He just seems him as his enemy, who stole his girl away from him and now he hates him from core of his heart.
After Shaurya left, Nehal shouted on him "What the hell it was Bhai? Why did you shout on him? What was his mistake? He was just concerned for you. That's it!! What is happening with you? He was so worried for you and you bloody shouted on him. You Bloody Jerk!! She leaves the room to apologize to him, on behalf of her brother but she got late as he had already left. She felt bad and immediately called Vicky and told him everything about what happened.
Vicky understands everything and waits eagerly for him to come home. Shaurya reaches at home, all tired, more than tired he was hurt. How much he tries to think of excuses but somewhere he too felt something odd and gets more hurt and scared thinking of every bad thought he was having, at that very moment.
Vicky saw him entering into the house, he quickly goes to him "Bhai, are you okay? he asks his brother seeing him tired and sad. Shaurya smiled little bit, seeing his little brother getting worried for him "I'm fine. Don't worry. I'm thinking I should warn Nehal to not to tell you anything and should stop making you worried. I know he got irritated may be because he was in pain and I too shouted on him for being careless. So may be, he got irritated. Don't worry, everything is fine. I'll talk to him tomorrow. He said smiling. Vicky too smiled and tells him to take some rest. He will ask Mom to send something for you in your room. Shaurya leaves from there and asks his brother not to tell anyone at home about what happened back at Shivin's house. Vicky agrees to him.
Here in college, after her lecture Mehak goes towards Shaurya's class to talk to him. She reach to his class and tries to look inside it but after not finding him she gets sad and thinks might be he went to canteen but she didn't found him there too. She gets disappointed and began to leave for her house thinking he might have gone early today. She was leaving when she heard someone saying audition results for Cultural fest are out. She quickly goes towards notice board and saw everyone trying hard to see their results. She too tries hard to see her result and gets succeeded after trying for 5 minutes. She first check her name and gets happy seeing that she got selected in musical department, she shouts cheerfully and then again check notice board to see Shaurya's result. She gets happier seeing his name just above her name, which means he too got selected and that too in musical department. She comes out of the crowd and does the victory dance.
"Wow!! I can't believe this, I got selected and now I'll be able to work with my Rockstar. Yayyy!!! She thought getting happy and dreaming to work with him. But little did she know that all her dreams are going to crash soon. She didn't knew that her Rabba has planned something very cruel and unfortunate for both of them, which will leave them heartbroken. She quickly calls her Mom to tell her everything, her Mom chuckles on phone seeing her daughter craziness for Shaurya Khanna and thinks what will happen to her? Meera told her to come home fast today as they have to go Manasavi's house, as Khanna's was going to come for Manasavi and Mehul's alliance. After knowing that her sister is going to get married to Shaurya's elder brother, she gets happier and quickly calls her driver and told him to pick her up quickly from the college.
Flashback (Day before Lohri)
"That's why you were so desperate to call me back? So that I can meet her again and resolve everything between us. Right Bhabhi? Shaurya asked his Bhabhi, Manasavi shook her head sadly. He sighed "Par fir Mehak ne mujhe pechana kyu nahi? He said.
Manasavi and Mehul looked at him and gets worried. Shaurya notices this "Kya hua? Any problem? he asks them when they didn't replied.
"Shaurya.. wo Mehak ka-" Manasavi didn't completed her statement and starts crying. Shaurya gets worried and looks at his Bhai. Mehul goes towards Manasavi and side hugs her and while consoling his wife spoke "Wo tujhe isliye nahi pehchaan paayi kyuki- He pauses for a minute and looks at Manasavi for approval. She blinks her eyes and allows him to tell everything.
"kyuki kya? Shaurya questioned. Mehul sighs deeply and spoke after closing his eyes "Kyuki uski memory jaa chuki hai!! Wo tujhe bhul gayi hai!! Manasavi cries hard after this. Mehul hugs her and consoles her.
"What? Shaurya said. He was hell shocked, he didn't know what to say, tears get form in his eyes. Mehul words rings in his ears, he felt helpless and began to cry. All his past memories with her flashed in front of his eyes, her smile, her talks everything. He cried hard thinking "How can she forget him? How? He looked at his Bhai- Bhabhi for answers and they looked at him with guilt in their eyes.
"Ho-how did thi-this happ-happen? he stammered. Mehul sighed "Because you left her!!
