@bold: I agree. It is not just the blind rage, there is variations of it that he does so well. There is this rage simmering just below the surface (as in the ISC days) that you can sense and feel, then there is the controlled rage (from the ajay days) and there again he lets you see the effort that control is taking and then there is blind uncontrollable rage (from the KC episode you mention) that you yourself can't help but shrink from. And it is not rage alone, it is any overwhelming, intense emotion - anguish, heartache, pride, arrogance he delivers all beautifully.
He can also turn on the charm at the snap of a finger. He carried the whole fake love track with that. His acting here has grown leaps and bounds. I used to love that epi where he brings her from the bar and they are assaulted by the truck drivers on the way. His charm was full on those two episodes. I recently saw them again and I could see how much more natural he is now when compared to those. If we thought he was great then, one can only imagine what he can do now! 😊
I think where he needs a little bit more growth is in the lovey dovey scenes, be it with dialogue delivery or more intimate scenes. Those have been a miss most times.
I have said many times and will say again that Mehak hasn't gotten roles this versatile to do her justice. She is struck between a happy in love Mehak or Sad and in love Mehak. She has done justice to both, but it will be nice to see many shades to her role too.
