The Hut scene was highly illogical.. they made her wear the white shirt for kisses and Shaurya carrying only one shirt.. talk about logic No doubt they have electrifying chemistry but Mehak's uneasiness made the scene a bit awkward. In fact I'm not finding Mehak comfortable with Shaurya's romance and can't Shaurya see how uneasy she has been feeling whenever he romance her? ex- the balcony scene. He is too busy delivering creepy dialogues giving us goosebumps

I think the idea they wanted to convey in that whole scene, from Shaurya making Mehak change the gears in the car till Mehak wearing Shaurya's shirt, was that Mehak is going to take Shaurya's place for a while and he himself is going to handover her the reins. yeah it could have been written better.

Mehak is not ready for intimacy in the hut, because she didn't even convince her family at that time. A lot happened in her life recently, so it is natural for her to feel awkward. Shaurya is eager to make her his own as he realized his love. That's him. He always wants to rush things. Shaurya's creepy dialogues, I want to give them benefit of doubt for now. May be they wanted to show him as passionate and it came out wrong. I don't want to see him as a psycho lover.

That's what am a little worried about - making him the darr wala SK

Another creepy scene was the investors one- so out of place & a tad disgusting it was- which investor or any decent person speaks or leers like that -had actually expected him to punch all 3 of them but he didn't

Siblings hopefully they won't - am sure theirs ideas are not so warped that they will ruin a show whose success despite the tactlessness and shoddiness of tracks is garning them the nos and popularity -the credit of which in my opinion is solely due to the leads

Let's hope am not face palming next week On the twist that is

yeah that particular investor looked extra slimy. I didn't like him at all, but i think its just a case of badly directed and badly acted scene. Vedika explained that scene in one of the posts which makes sense to me. That scene was a repeat of valentines party where he didn't want to acknowledge Mahek as his life partner in front of the investors and he didn't want to give her any importance at all at that time. He never acknowledged her beauty even in private before, but now he is doing all that happily in front of the same investors and the whole world. It didn't come out well though.

@bold their consistency in shoddiness is what scares me. I sometimes wonder if they really invest their hard earned money in this soap or is it all easy money that they don't mind wasting on below par work. Leads are the only saving grace right now.

Thanks for this Rekha - can I call you that?

I really enjoyed your write up and it was good to remember all that has happened the past week.

I would just add one more point - in the final episode, I was really happy to see Mehak's desire. In 99.9% of tv shows and films, it is the hero who desires and the heroine who either resists or gives in. But rarely do we see the woman initiating a conversation about what she wants to do or feels like doing, and I loved it when Mehak confessed that there were things that she felt like doing. I really like how the show is very mature about sexuality - they've always taken a healthy approach to it.

True! She always expressed her affections without inhibitions through hugs and kisses, but this time she wants to tell him her secret desires, which is refreshing to watch. Being able to convey what she wants is an important part of a healthy intimate relationship and that surely is a step forward. That anticipation and eagerness in his face was adorable.😆

Yes you can call me Rekha😊

@dsr, really nice summary. It was like looking at just the favorite parts of the week.
The whole Taj scene didn't do much for me too. I thought I was the only one there! 😊

I really feel SJ is under appreciated. KV has taken us all by storm. She hasn't gotten the credit due to her. Well, just my opinion! But no doubt that she is an awesome actress. 👏

DiyaKash,
The reason I wrote this is because I saw the official ZKM page on insta asking for rating the episodes of the week on a scale of 0-10. But I felt that instead of rating they need to know what worked and what didn't work for us through out the week. I also feel that the crowd here on this forum is smart and mature unlike those on social media, so we get more refined views on the week's episodes from members here.

Fandom being mostly girls, KV is admired more for the obvious reasons. He deserves it too. SJ is also receiving a lot of appreciation for her work, but we just don't see people going crazy for her in other ways. She is a natural talent and she has improved by leaps and bounds since the show started.

Couldn't agree more with you on the maturity of this forum and the quality of posts! We can discuss ZKM endlessly without loosing the objectivity or the sanity!

I get why KV is more popular! 😊 My point of mentioning that SJ is under appreciated is that it sometimes looks like even the ZKM team promotes KV more with their insta and fb posts. Again, probably for the obvious reasons. I wish she was in as much limelight as KV is, coz it is together they are carrying this show. Both are wonderful actors and there is no questioning that.
