Thanks for your comment. The idea of this FF just came to me suddenly, and I decided to go for it.

Having been to this Food and Wine Festival ( it's amazing btw)l, I thought it a pretty cool venue that Mehek could showcase her talents at, and besides it's Disney😆 she's guaranteed to have some fun.

I thought the distance would be good for both of them, and give them breather they would both need after the turmoil of India's Super Cook and allow their online friendship to thrive as well.

I have finished work for the week (whoo hoo for 4 day weekends) so I should have ample time to complete chapter two and post.

Will PM you for sure.

Thanks Bworm...it was actually a lot longer, so I had find the right place to end the chapter. It's actually one of the contestants making their way to the stage, but which one...

I hope to update in the next day or so - about a third of the way through writing the second chapter

Sorry for my late review...! Was a bit kind of busy...!

Woww...what a long trip, compared to your other two much shorter ones...! Although...it was quite a long journey, it was an enjoyable one...didn't feel bored or tired, so won't complain...!😉

Must say...you have laid the foundation of this new fan fiction...using the best materials, to cement and solidify it...!

Bricks of Angriness & Annoyance...: Mr Shaurya Khanna...The Perfectionist, wants everything to be straight and perfect..! For him, everything should be done on time...not one minute before/early..neither one minute after/late...! He was so annoyed with Rajiv, his partner/friend/brother for breaking his law of rules ...but, tried his best to stay calm, to keep his image of good boy intact, in the eyes of the public...! Being a man with a bright mind...he knew a quick temper could backfire against himself...! A moment of anger can destroy a lifetime of his work/reputation...and Shaurya certainly didn't want that...! Shaurya knew he should control his anger...because it's only one letter from danger...!

Bricks of Restlessness & Anxiousness...: Shaurya was physically present in the studio...but, mentally he was somewhere else...lost in the deep thought of his online buddy @ MS...! That restlessness was causing chaos in his brain...! His restless roaming mind wouldn't allow him to concentrate in the live interview...which at one moment, ended up being a very embarrassing situation for him...! He was relaxed, only when he sensed the vibration of his mobile...relieved that MS was safe and fine...!

Bricks of Exasperation & Indignation...: Shaurya nearly hit the roof...when he was questioned of his equation with Mehek Sharma...the girl, he hated the most, the girl who made his life a laughing joke...! The hostess hit the bull eye...asking him such a personal question...! He was even more irked and furious when one minuscule moment...he was given the second-hand treatment...!

Bricks of Proudness & Pridefulness...: Mehek Sharma...an ordinary middle-class girl from a small town...became the pride of her whole neighbourhood/society...when she received such a great offer to work "under contract" in one of the most popular and famous Disneyland Park...and that too in America...one of the most powerful country...(Uff..that reminds me of my numerous visits to Disneyland Paris, the City of Love...my birthplace).!

Bricks of Caring & Worrying..: Mehek pillar of support and strength...her family...! Though, her family knew she has grown up...is capable of standing on her own feet and was more self-confident, after winning the competition and defeating the arrogant Shaurya Khanna, they were still apprehensive to let her leave the homely nest and fly by herself...! The wounds that Shaurya have given them have still not healed completely and fully...! Her family knew...that high above in the sky, there're vultures like Shaurya Khanna...who'll try to break Mehek wings and stop her from flying...!

Bricks of Reassurance & Encouragement...: Mehek family gave their approval...because, unlike Shaurya Khanna...there were also people like Rajiv Kapoor in this world...who was a blessing and a Godfather for their little "protegee"...and who'll protect her from the predator...!

Bricks of Emotions & Melancholy...: Mehek was sad & frightened to leave her family for the first time and travel alone so far...to a foreign land...! But, she also knew that such an opportunity will come only once in her life...! If she doesn't grab the chance now...she'll never get it a second time...! She was relieved to have Rachna as her support system during her first flight...! Mehek was delighted to share that incredible moment, not with her family...but, with her online friend @ KK...!

Bricks of Mystery and Questions..: Was the empty fourth chair for Mehek Sharma...winner of "India's Super Cook"...? Was the silent message from MS to KK...to inform him that she has already reached her destination @ America safely...and not that her plane is about to take off...? Are all those flight moments in flashback mode...? Does KK know that Mehek/MS departure date has been changed...? Are Shaurya and the other judges already in the American soil...and the live interview is being broadcasted from an American studio...and not from India...? Will Mehek Sharma reached the studio in the nick of time...and get the shocked of her life on seeing Shaurya Khanna already there...?

Well...Kelly...! Please let me know if my questions about the mystery chair and his/her occupant are answerable or not...! ⭐️

Wow Waida, A review comparable to the length of my chapter😆... but as you have appreciated the update; so do I appreciate your feedback, so please no apologies for being late. I know how life can get.

As it pertains to my FF updates, they will average 3000+ words, so you have been forewarned LOL.

I will say that you have understood my intent with this for this first chapter: laying the foundation for the storyline, and have done a bang up job of detailing in your review really well...so thank you!

@bold: Waida all I can say is that you've taken me places that I hadn't even considered with some of these questions.😲 Thankfully you shouldn't have too much longer as I intend on posting no later than tomorrow. Hopefully it will live up to your expectations.
