Good morning...Perf...! A well written and well analyzed post...! The best way to describe MehRya..!😉

If you've gone thro' some of my past comments, you must have realized by now..."MehRya" is the modern version of "Beauty and the Beast" for me...! One of my favorite fairytales...!

The Beast made a deal with Beauty's father...! In exchange of his life...he should give him one of his daughters...! Here Shaurya will make a deal with Mehek...in exchange of her family freedom, she should dance with him...!

But, as of now, for me personally...Shaurya is more like Hitler, the Dictator...! Like Shaurya...Hitler was born in a poor family...he was always at loggerheads with his father and closer to her mother...! Hitler was a self-made military leader dictator...! His hatred for the Jewish population (called them intoxicating and unclean substances) was so great..it concluded into "The Holocaust" where several million of innocent people died...!

Like Hitler...Shaurya is a self-made business tycoon...! His hatred for the middle-class population (called them cheats, inferior, mediocre people with no class) is so deep...it ended up with Mehek's family being imprisoned and tortured...!

To conclude...I want Shaurya to return to his old self, the Beast..! We do know, like the Beast...Shaurya heart will also melt before Mehek's beauty and kindness...! He will become so restless without Mehek...just like the Beast, who nearly died of heartbreak when Beauty left him for few days to visit her family...! 😃

Good Morning Waida,
I should have awarded you the credits for planting the idea. It was only after this episode I saw your analogies about and saw the similarities. I love this concept and will continue this until the "beast " has transformed and I suggest you continue this way too, so we shall capture the essence of "Shaurya the Beast".

Either i have a warp sense of humor or their is something wrong with me but i was seriously enjoying and liking this episode, so much, Shaurya is going to torture the heck out of Mahek. I was happy to see she was not timid or frighten when she enter the den of wolves. Finally the girl has shown some backbone.
kanta pissed me off today, she is complaining about Mahek being along in the lions den, yet she is asking for her help. Guilt, man i hate how people can manipulate you with it.

Oh that dance, what a dance, i kept grinning like an idiot, while my mom was, i hope she step on his toe or kick him in the shin.
Bad Bad Shaurya.

That vampire Aunt has a point, there is defenitly something between them.

As for the pre-cap the battle line has been redrawn. round 2 commence.

But yes, I agree with you. He does derive a sick pleasure from pulling people down, shattering their hopes and dreams and adding a little bit of negativity and darkness to their lives - making them feel a little of what he feels all the time. Helpless, trapped and jaded.

@TM - It was indeed a good episode. My favourite part was the firecrackers bit too. His sudden disorientation in his own home, feeling puzzled and adrift was a pleasure to watch. That's how deeply she affects him, that just an glimpse of her (imagined or otherwise) for a second, leaves his disturbed for many moments after.

Omg! Hades! The Greek god of the underworld!!! Yes! He stole the woman he loved by letting the earth swallow her in. Nothing escapes Hades so so like Shaurya,

@bold- Oh!yes! He has some strange fascination for her tears. He made a dish out of it,"chicken asuwala" .Y'day I was horrified as he stood there watching her shed tears at his command.

OMG! You guys are amazing writers and have a way with your words!!
Just to add the comment on Kanta, we saw two places where she is manipulative - one was yesterday and the other was when she asked Mehak to cook for Pammi - isn't she using Mehak when she wants? Shaurya bhi yehi Kanta hai!

According to me, somewhere deep Shaurya is himself a'middle class guy,who pretends to hate the 'middle class ',but in course of time his own middle class likes are going to surface out..his choice of food, the qualities he is looking for in his partner are basically all reflecting the same. His behaviour towards Mehek is his own distrust in relationships, probably because of his past experiences which have scarred his psyche &of course his ego is not ready to admit that Mehek is not reciprocating the attraction he feels for her (which as of now he too has not acknowledged).Be prepared for a roller coaster ride of emotions in coming weeks 😊

Agree with you Nithya, in the little chat he has with his mother on girls and marriage he does say that he is fed up on girls of his class ( his count is close to 50, his Mom mentioned half-a-century) which means that he is looking for someone fresh and lively as Mehak, slowly he is going to come to terms with it just as ASR in IPKKND - he too thought that Kushi was not upto his standards initially...
