Since her return after the kidnap episode she
1.Firstly cleanses herself with bathe, change of clothes & finally cries in buckets*its happening else where too today*
She does give a teeny bit of her mind by telling Maryem how she relived the rape night again. Now that was the most obvious observation from killa vasis & us at DT.
This was purely a REACTIVE.
2.Post that, first days Gullie seems to be disinterested in most of her routine including her cafe job & pet ladoos.
This is something rare, since most of us observed her over reaction atleast.
This is purely RETROSPECT.
Retrospection needs solitude & slow reconstruction of the events to precisely arrive at fault lines.
*techie mind is screaming...its like singleton pattern*
And finally she manages to share her inner fears that it was Mustafa who wanted to harm Kerim via her.
Here 'hurt' her the same way was meant to be rape her??Was it her imagination of Mustafa stooping so low or was it the reality if Kerim had not interrupted with a phone call is open ended.
3.Lastly when the counselor probes if this has been discussed with Kerim...she just says 'I want to move forward'
This is purely RESURRECTION.
So this makes the final pull out from the person called Mustafa she knew.
Most of the times the resurrection is introspected/questioned by others.
The resurrection needs a belief/faith as support system.
Incase of Gullie her resurrection is aptly supported by Kerim.And that hug he offered her without much explanation proves that faith is much instilled.*loved this scene*
