My two cents about Fatmagul.

This is a show which has dealt with an extremely sensitive issue like rape in a proper and realistic manner.The pain,the grief of a rape victim was shown.Its aftermath and how it affected her life was also shown.Otherwise nowadays many shows deal with rape tracks carelessly and insensitively.But here they helped us to connect with the character and feel her pain.

And I wouldn't call FG a victim.She is a survivor who rose like a phoenix.

What I love about this show-

1.Fatmagul and Kerim:Their love story is one of the best stories I have seen till now.From strangers to reluctant people in a relationship and finally soul mates,these two have come a long way.What I love the most about their relationship is that their relationship was not sudden and abrupt.Aaj eyelock aur kal pyaar.But it was a relationship which developed slowly and steadily.First the wall of ice between them melted later Fatmagul began to love Kerim with all her heart and soul and vice versa.And Kerim 's love for Fatmagul is selfless and deep.There is purity and intensity at the same time.He doesn't merely love Fatmagul.He worships her.

I had once heard a quote.Kehte hai Rishton ka asli imtihaan mushkil waqt main hota hai.Par jo rishte mushkil waqt main bante hain,unhe kabhi kisi imtihaan se guzarna nahin padta.

Fatmagul and Kerim 's relationship reminded me of this.

2.Characters like Maryam,Kader and Rehmi:These characters bring in an air of positivity especially Maryam.Maryam was the mother which FG never had.And I loved how she challenged Resat Yasaran.

3.Vural:He was a rapist.And I loathe him for that.But they showed his conscience haunting him and eating him up which showed that even after committing such an inhuman act,he had some humanity left.The guilt of the sin which he had committed was eating up his soul.And he could not live in peace for a moment.But when he had to open his mouth,he didn't.He got scared.He was afraid of punishment but he was also afraid of his life.I felt that his guilt waz not letting him live.Personally I find him to be a rather conflicted character.I will never support him for what he did to FG and he deserved punishment but he also showed remorse and guilt.Vural's character was brilliantly portrayed by Bugra.

4.Erdogan Yasaran:I don't love him.I love to hate him.He is one of the best villains ever.He has his evil side but with a wicked sense of humour.And his character has multiple shades too.His ambitious nature,his love and concern for his mother,his attitude,his rivalry with Resat Yasaran and then there is his completely montrous side.Villain ho toh aisa ho.

5.Omer:Omer.Omer.Omer.Unn par hamara dil aagaya hai.

6.The brilliant cast:Casting ka jawab nahin.Engin and Beren are mindblowing.Every one else is great too.

What I don't like about this show-

Mustafa.Mustafa.Mustafa.The only problem I have with this show is the man named Mustafa Nalcali.Yeh kya hai?? Kyun hai?? Why is he needed??? For villains we already have Erdogan and Selim.Phir iski kya zaroorat hai?? This guy is such a pain in the neck.And above all,he gets more screenspace than Erdogan and Selim who are supposed to be the main villains.Honestly I would prefer to see the Yasaran Khandaan over Mustafa any day.

Yesterday's Episode though had its beautiful moments but was all about Mahaan Mustafa and his Katha! 😡

I don't get this weird obsession of the makers to give him more screen space than the leads. Hilal please, he's a sore to our eyes!

Supermoon Ender's Dumbest Planet Meltem partying around with some other guy after her famous ONS with Musti and she'll probably sleep with him too! 😆😆😆

I don't get how such things are so casual to them.

Selim like a lost planet Pluto as Vids says just to be in her good side informs her about Kerim and Mustafa.😆😆

Meanwhile Erdogan winks at the hot dancing chic! 🤣

She doesn't gives a damn aur Uski Daal Nahi Gali..!! 🤣

Meriyam And Kadir. ❤️

Do I need to mention that, they're the most adorable pair of oldies and that whole engagement scene was so cute.

Engagement Chocolates, Cake and Kerim cutting the ribbon.😳

Kadir was right, it definitely made the happy mood prevail more.

Omer congratulating Meriyam and giving that warm hug to Kadir saying, "Meri Bhai." was sweet. I love the bond these two share.

Omer Bey, now treat us with your engagement news too.❤️

Halidey telling Hacer about the delusional happy world they once had was such a yawn moment.🥱

She needs to realize that her "Acchi Parwarish Wala Beta" was the same dominating obsessed moron even when he was engaged with Gullie and wasn't associated with Yasrans or Alagoz's.

That whole incident, just brought out his true phase.

His coughing and that continous rant of "Main Bimaar Hoon!" was getting on my nerves! 😡

Why doesn't this Leechar dies of a heart attack or excessive cold!? 🤬

Muqaddas is sure to ruin Gul Muftangi with her loud blabbering mouth and I feel like slapping her when she yells at that innocent fella Mehmat.😡

Rahami and his Patni Prem gets on my nerves! It's idiotic as to how he keeps providing explanations for MQ's shitty behaviour.

Sir Rajni is back and thankfully he didn't bury Mumtaz Mehel in the Jungle Taj Mahal.😆😆😆

Farhettin and Kerim scene was so sweet with Farhettin going back to Rajinikanth Mode and Kadir teasing them. 😆😆😆

Haliday and Hacer's scene was damn boring for sure.But I don't get it about this lady.I know that a mother's love is blind but her son is not an innocent soul too.Moreover I feel that she and her late husband are partially responsible for driving Mustafa till this extent.Rest is his own kia dhara.

Personally I find Haliday to be someone for whom her own convenience matters the most.She threw away FG aside instead of standing by her.She wanted Aasu to get out of Mustafa's life after finding out about her profession.

Regarding Mustafa,I have got no comments.🤢All he was did was Main Beemar Hoon.Meri Maa Beemar Hai.Meri Biwi Pregnant hai.conversation between him and that officer was taking place and a song was playing in my mind.Mustafa was like:

Halide in flash back mode. Telling Aasu her only audience, on the mental peace is inversely proportional to gain in material piece?

By then Deg F makes an entry...to turn the scene more meaningful.

Kadir is an exceptionally good mood. Those remarks on Deg F- K conversation were those one lines we would fall for. :)

Dummy Moment : Kerim's night mare...of Gullie biting the bullet this time was very important. For a little boy losing a mother (unnaturally) at a young age, the trauma is deep seated and

is pronounced back with medicines, pain and fear.

HE KNOWS THE PRICE TO PAY FOR LOSING DEAR ONES AROUND HIM..

Now his priced possession is Gullie. He doesnt want to loose her at any cost.

There could be many more symbolism...*group study will help*

Needless to repeat, superlative acting by Engin. Esp in the walker scenes, body failing to respond to visitors talking, medicines ke side effects.*Loved it*

PS: Assisting a huge guy like Engin is very tough. Samru did a good job.*weight transfer and balance*

Are Halide and Kerim in the same hospital?*sucker for more drama*

Kerim's expressions when Maryem teases him on Gullie leaving the ward with them. Lallantap

Beginning with Sadi Machhli, I wasn't surprised when he cooked up that story of being Fatmagul's 'maseeha' in front of Serdar. 🥱 What actually surprised me was the way Mustafa firmly asked him to accept the money for all his 'dosti-nibhaana'. 😳 He has surely learnt from Yasarans how to bribe people easily without letting them know that they're being bribed. 😵 Also, just look at the way he still had the guts to lie to Hacer when she questioned him. 😡

The only bearable scene of his was the interrogation scene, I mean I obviously hate to see his face, but that fearful "Oh shit" expression on his face every time the officer tried to cross check him was such a treat for me. And his excuse of "Main bimaar hun, meri maan bimaar hain." 🤢 For me it did look like more than being worried for Halide, Mustafa was somewhere deeply thankful for his mother being hospitalized cuz he got a good reason for people to sympathize with him and save his ass from further interrogation. 😵 Just please die already and rot in hell! 🤬

There the jokers of Y.Circus are seen chilling at a birthday party and having some life, since staying back at home isn't a life for our dawg. 😛 It was amusing how he tried 'nain-matakka' with some random gal but she didn't seem to be 'ghaas-daalo-ing' on him. 😆 And his assumption about Selim-Meltem getting back together to save their circus...err...company 😆

Btw was it only me who felt so or the music playing in the pub did seem like some vampire-ish music? 😆

Risat the new Raaz Reboot of the Circus is away from all the 'moh-maaya' of life and comes to the bar in search of some 'sukoon' and 'araam', both of which aren't to be found in the Circus anymore. 🤣 Mrs. Laale yet again spots Risat at the same spot. 😆 *Senses another EMA in making*

And I cracked up when that lady was like "Aapki life kamaal ki hai!" 🤣 His face at this was like "Oh seriously?" types. Even I was like "Seriously? He's gifted with some clowns in the name of family, his company is now taken over by Ender, Fatmagul's case is spoiling his reputation & respect in the society and he has a kamaal ki life!"

Miss Maha Lacto aka Meltem looked really gorgeous yesterday. ❤️ And it was indeed kind of her to call up Gullie to know Kerim's 'khair-khabar'. :D Maybe these two girls can become good friends? 😛 *too many expectations*

So finally, Kadir-Meryem get engaged in a sweet little ceremony at hospital with flowers, chocolates and a delicious chocolate cake *yumzz* I mean this oldie is such a die-hard romantic it seems, Meryem is surely going to be one lucky woman. ^_^ The way he was like "Ye hamare mann mein hone se achha hai ki hamari ungliyon par ho!" was really cute. 😳

I was literally going 'awww' whenever Kerim gave that affectionate smile to Gullie and pleaded her with his puppy eyes to stay back at hospital with him. 😳 A typical husband would've been like "Tum thak gayi hogi, ghar jaake araam kar lo." But our sweetheart was like "I just want you by my side, that's the only thing I'm asking for." ❤️ His fear of losing Gullie was clearly visible in his eyes, that dream literally scared him. 🥺 The way he tightly held her hand and expressed his fear was just admirable. To say that Kerim is adorable becomes an understatement with each passing episode. ❤️

I enjoyed watching Meryem pulling his leg and being like "Goli kya lag gayi moonh se romantic baatein hi nikal rahi hain!" 😆 They both make such an endearing mother-son duo despite of the fact that they aren't related by blood. ❤️

And now after Shanaya, I feel like Gayu ki aatma mere andar aa gayi hai. 🤣 I mean seriously, Gullie's certain actions and behavior kind of disappointed me yesterday. 🤔 Dunno why it looked like she took care of Kerim as if he's some 5-year old kid. 😳 Arre yaar husband hai tumhara, can't you just for once become more verbal with your feelings instead of giving shy smiles and take a step forward with physical interactions? 😕 A light kiss won't tamper your healing process! :/

Actually I'm saying this cuz I noticed when the doctor took Kerim for therapy sessions, the way she lightly had her hand on his back looked like she was helping some random man to walk. 😕

And the major turn off was when Kadir brought those lovely flowers for Meryem and our Gullie was like "Hum tumhare liye kuchh kapde laaye hain!" to Kerim. 😳 Ek toh husband, wo bhi hospitalized, and instead of bringing flowers you bring clothes? :/

Mukaddes bani bawarchi at Gul Mutfagi while Rehmi, Mehmet become the victims of MQuakes when things went ultimately messy at the restaurant. 😆😆 I couldn't actually get what was the need of showing this scene. :P Though Gullie needs to return back at her rasoi asap before the customers become the victims of MQuakes. 🥱

Sir Rajni coming to his cub and the emotional talk between them was really amazing. 😳 I absolutely love the perfect balance of emotions portrayed by this actor playing Kerim's dad, and I guess I've said it before too. <3 Needless to say that Engin is just outstanding in such emotional scenes! ^_^⭐️ Kadir's Kommentary during their conversation was a humorous yet lovely element in the scene, and I loved how he was like "Hamara beta samajhdaar ho raha hai... Hai na?" 😳
