Yet another powerful episode of FatmaGul and we're in such phase where characters are unmasking to reveal their originalities. A stage where everyone's getting unnerved from perceived difficulties and unclear about what the future holds for them. Only those who are friends of their conscience are breathing free...

"Allah ka rehm rahe..." are the welcoming lines of inmates to E&S in the previous episode, to which Erdogan responds "sab par rahe..." Very apt! Indeed! Time's come to pay up and in few rare admissions of honesty is actually beginning to admit to Selim that he's indeed scared of the present, more than the future... Still nurses hopes of getting released and going after Kerim! This lad is a lost case, and in the bigger picture as well.. Perhaps Selim and Vural can still be redeemable given their fears and guilts respectively... Erdogan looks sold to evil long back! And Selim, unfairly at times, gets punched without getting into any own provocations. And his inner voice comes clean when he knows its nigh impossible for them to be ever released from prison... At least on two recent occasions, Selim's expressed genuine feelings of guilt, although he's not gonna admit that in open...

Fatmagul and Kerim doing the obsequies was very much like they're a happily married couple. Yes, she hasn't fully absolved Kerim yet but every possible hurdle to recovery is gradually dissolving for good. Kerim and Meryem have been working hard to get her back to normalcy, and whenever they're busy, kind Rehmi is such a wonderful support to her. I love the confidence of Rehmi when he assures Fg that things will really end well... Sensible of Fg to remember Kerim's mother at obsequy, says she cares for Kerim beyond himself...

E&S maybe sons of spoilt families but they still have a job and office to show. Unlike Mustafa whose daylight profession has been to sniff at scandals and mint his own future through it... In Feriha, her past beau Halisedin, the madmax who uses gun and yells, "tum mujhse meri Feriha ko nahi le jaa sakte..." eventually ends up killing her to avenge his loss. People like Mustafa, armed with gun and soulless heart, can just about try similar antics, all made up of selfish mindsets... It was pathetic to see Mustafa running around the town like an aimless rabid, threatening to injure anyone for no reason... Munir knowing Mustafa hands over the gun, and he will have himself to blame later...
4
People like Risat Yasran can stoop to the lowest extent in name of opportunism... He trusts no one in his own family, and steals the gun himself! Even he seemed to forget what Mustafa can possibly use the gun for! Tactical error by the Risat-Munir combo, they acted too fast without understanding the potential consequences... The timing wasn't just right...

Perihan trying every trick in the book, and her air of morality has withered away in testing times. Muqaddas does well to deflect the threat but eventually succumbs to tricks herself. Her schemes to have Fg withdraw the case were very cheap, and she shows her dark side when she shamelessly tries to cleave differences between Fg and Kerim, all because she wants to save herself from jury. Very ugly of her to do so.
6
Kerim sensibly deviates from painful paths to safeguard Fg's delicate mindset, he really cares for her and is mindful of his activities to the best of his abilities. His painful recounting of the crime almost crushed him, his own guilt is punishing him more than any verdict possible... Even if Fg forgives him, his conscience will keep him wary of such deep suffering... Very beautifully enacted by Engin A, he's top-notch!

Kaderbhai amazes me with his nonchalance when quizzed by Muqaddas about her judgement. He's so cool even when he says, "tujhe bhi court gunehgaar maan sakti hai, abhi kuch keh nahi sakte..." All Muqaddas ever knows is to shut everyone up by her caustic words, wonderful to see her dismissed with such ease and comfort. Kaderbhai and Meryem warning her of not lying was very hurtful to her concerns... She's chickening out badly and trying her ugly influence to keep Fg away from complaining about everything.
She was able to get her game in earlier when Meryem wasn't around! Now she's been botched up and nowhere to hide...
8
Meryem telling Kaderbhai about Crete being her motherland was awesome. Today, Crete island is a thriving holiday destination with beautiful beaches and luxurious hotels... A Greece visa is needed to get there, and it's right in between Greece and western Turkey, in the Aegean Sea...

Munir is smartly operating to get the public prosecutor under his influence but that's to no eventual avail. Risat is three-quarters incapacitated without the ruthless Munir, and apart from his allegiance and affairs, Munir really works his cards with people well. He had almost got the issue buried, one mustn't forget that. Except for his orientation towards evil, Munir stands out well as a trying guy rather than leaving things to chance.
10
Fg roaming around in the open when she's reopened an explosive case was a bit unrealistic. Ideally she should be isolated from things that disturb her, given that she's yet to appear in the court in the best frame of mind. Muqaddas does nothing to stop her from venturing out! Fg should heed to anyone other than Muqaddas at the moment...

Halidey might be concerned about Mustafa but the words she uses at the distraught Fatmagul were very disgraceful. "Apna zindagi toh kharaab kar liya ab mere bete ki zindagi se duur ho jao...!" Very sadistic woman who has unsurprisingly given birth to the disgusting Mustafa!

Meltem, Vural and Aasu all resting in the background for today... Main Hari Piya suits Meltem the most... She too is being kept away from the truth likewise...
Pacy episodes lay ahead, and Sunday is a long day for Fg fan club members... Waiting as usual for expert reviews to follow...
Good night everyone! Have a gala weekend...
