This show started on a date which was one of the worst for me since my all-time favourite show had ended on that very same date and had left me upset for quite some time because of which I had not watched shows for long...

but now, I regret that I had not watched this one earlier.

Honestly, I think this is the best Asian show ever in terms of performance from every single person, screenplay and content. Every single scene is awesome. It was brilliant in all aspects and you learn so much from it. It helps you to enjoy a delightful perception of life. What I like about this is the realism in the show. It shows the harsh truths of life, makes you smile, cry and really touches your heart. And it has tremendous repeat value. Not one single side story bores you, from Asmara-Zaroon to Murtaza-Rafia to Murtaza-his second wife to Sara-Farhan to Osama-Kashaf to Kashaf-her sisters, in fact the tight script manages to keep you gripped and makes you want to know about every single character. Plus they don't fill the show by showing the reaction of everyone with one shocking dialogue. I watched the whole show in 2 days and it left me wanting more, even though I think the less number of episodes makes the show on a whole even better since it hasn't been stretched. This is the show that piqued my interest in Pakistani shows and it still remains my favourite amongst them ❤️

And seriously, Fawad and Sanam are simply brilliant. They are such subtle actors and act so effortlessly. They lived Zaroon and Kashaf and not one scene makes you feel like they're acting (ek pal ke liye bhi nahi... ek millisecond ke liye bhi nahi. And this is not namumkin yaar 😉) Kashaf is probably the best Asian female character ever even though she had her flaws but I like how she is independent and not the girl-next-door girl. She is an inspiration 😳 Oh and Sanam is so pretty and has such a beautiful voice <3

What do I say about Zaroon? ☺️ He is one of the best characters ever, so charming, his har jaan chidakne wala andaaz and his eyes <3 I watched Khoobsurat and really liked Fawad as Vikku but Zaroon made me a fan for life ❤️ Jitna mai kahu about Zaroon, it'll be too less. He's just wonderful in all ways ❤️ Fawad played him wonderfully and boy, is he hot or what? ☺️

Oh and Zaroon and Kashaf are a beautiful pair. I love the maturity in their conversations and they say stuff that are real and that make sense. They don't need to touch to be termed as an amazing pair. Their phone conversations, whether phone calls or sms are one of the best stuff about the show 😳 It's so difficult to choose the best ZaShaf scene but I really liked their first meeting scene, the library scene, the chai ka cup scene and every single scene post their marriage.

I've been looking for more Pak shows of this type but I haven't found any as nearly perfect as this one <3 Zindagi Gulzar Hai is just epic. I can keep watching this all day. Everybody should watch this IMO 😳

Nothing is changed for me as Zgh will always remain the special one for me . My thoughts are same today as when it was aired first time on Zindagi channel .So just posting what i felt first .and my reaction

Congratulations for Anniversary celebrations of the show which just changed people perspective about telling the story .

ZGH : A Rainbow Of Emotions Weaved In Relations. For me its always about lessons in life not a love story . Life is not straight line .

ZGH broke many preconceived notion . Just felt while watching as if watching the people around me whether its youngsters or the older generations. Same status factor here ,same life style . What is different ? Just a line .
Had left watching TV except English ones. After a long dry spell of good drama, finally found something worth watching and waiting for the next episode. It came with a lot of learning experience for audiences. ZGH came as a breath of fresh air.

Zindagi Gulzar Hai, a well-crafted drama which ended in just 26 episodes. It was subtle, no over the top drama, nothing trash in the name of Romance, still love was in the air when both were just talking or holding each others hands, gazing from the corner of there eyes now and then. This show took some serious issues like discrimination between son and daughter which is dealt in a very elegant way, along with education, women empowerment, marital issues. Then some lighter moments in the university of Zaroon and Kashaf, both belonging from a different class with different values, Zaroon on one hand is a big time flirt, good musician but on the same time a topper who knows what he wants from his life where as Kashaf on the other hand a lower middle class girl with family issues, always criticizing God for what ever happens wrong in her life and believe me lot of criticizing but above all she too is a topper and knows what she wants to do in her life and her way to there is not going to be a bed of roses but less roses with lot of thorns and she is ready to take the path as she is a strong headed woman. While watching Kashaf from the starting ,even with her complexes , insecurities , she is head strong . She is model role for so many girls who goes through this kind of problems but do not loose heart and just keep their priorities right in the life . Her strength is her inner-self which does not let her bend and her family who is pillar of strength for her . She is vulnerable , emotional but have the guts to call a spade a spade . Do not compromise with her values . She loves Zaroon but afraid to open her heart to him , thinking her telling him will make her vulnerable . Trust factor is missing due to her circumstances .

Rafia, a strong mother of three daughters who raised them alone as her husband married a second woman because she can't give him a boy. She brought up her daughters with dignity and self-respect and made them financially independent. When Kashaf gets married to Zaroon, she came with lot of baggage which included insecurities, complexes. Rafia and Sidra helped kashaf by giving her small advises which builds her relations with in-laws strong. And later on also she makes Kashaf understand the values of every relationships. Help her to over come her complexities and Zaroon also has major contribution to make the marriage successful. He did not let ego come in between the two. He was steadily bringing her out of her self made cocoon.
Brother sister relationship which Kashaf also became the part of. There is so much about this show. This story has been so well written that each and every dialogue has meaning which can be seen in our day to day lives and for that all credit goes to writer or may i say the whole team from director to sound editor.
Fawad Khan as Zaroon played brilliantly the character and specially in intense scenes . His eyes can do the talking . And Sanam as Kashaf did great job . She has speaking eyes . Both of them brought the best in each other whenever was confronting scene .It was not just a love story but so many lessons of life weaved in . Do not have enough words to appreciate this show .Should better call it A Rainbow of emotions.
Zaroon with his ring genuinely tells Kashaf ' Till death do us apart ' And sanam ' Roses or no roses .Ring or no ring , i am commited to this marriage . This just one liners were enough to express the genuinity of their bonding of relationship .I can certainly thank Umera Ahmed for both Kashaf and Rafia 'characters. Both are strong, independent women who refuse to let anything or anyone compromise their dignity.
A show can be full package when every character plays a important role to take the story . No trash in the name of Romance , no glycerin factory , no mute cow daughter-in-law . And so was ZGH !Kashaf's is the most well-etched character in this serial. She is very balanced in terms of how human she is - she gets angry, happy, envious, sad, frustrated, much like the rest of us . Never heard of Fawad Khan before ZGH and while watching just fell in love with the character who was a man with flaws but knew the meaning of respecting the relationship thus turned admirer of his work and same went for Sanam Saeed .
My tribute to the characters Zaroon & Kashaf ,played by Fawad Khan & Sanam saeed in Zindgi Gulzar Hai who Captivated me and breathed life in to the characters they played . These characters were challenge for me to gel them with old melodious numbers which have timeless beauty . So this is mine gift from here to other side , As music has no language ,only we can feel the emotions which have no language .So tried to fill the colors .

Congratulations for the Anniversary Zindagi Gulzar Hai has to be the best Pakistani Serial ⭐️
I wish our industry comes up with such nice concepts and story
your starting one line defines the whole concept of the serial "Shikwe se Shukar tak ka safar"

ZGH is one of the best television shows I've ever watched. Amazing is such a small word..I never ever get bored of it whenever how many times I watch it.😳

Zasaf such brilliant characters, excellent dialogues and more than anything mindblowing acting by Sanam & Fawad..👏👏👏 Their flaws, their insecurities, their loveliness, their yearning, their goods, their bads - everything made the show perfect and realistic. Not only zasaf, other characters and actors too played well to make it a success..👏

This drama was amazing. I remember waiting for Friday to come and then my whole family would sit together and watch ZGH, cannot believe its been 3 years!! Thank you so much to all the cast and crew for giving us such a beautiful drama and thanks to the makers of this thread for reliving the memories 🥳 ⭐️
